Draco's POV (I'm on a roll with these weird POVs, aren't I?)

Draco Malfoy learned one thing that day.

Never underestimate a girl. Especially when that girl is the best friend of someone you beat up in a fight earlier that same day, and especially when her name is Marlie Potter.

You'd be surprised by how much damage a ball of dirt can do when it's being thrown at you by an angry witch.

"You-little-son-of-a-HAG!" she shouted, throwing more balls of earth at him. "How dare you?!"

"Marlie, calm down!" her brother yelled. "He's not worth it!"

"You wouldn't be saying that if you saw what this little cowardly git did!" Marlie shrieked.

Draco fell to the ground as another ball smacked him in the face. Crabbe and Goyle were too frightened to do anything, and he shook with fear as she approached him, her face contorted with fury. She pinned him to the ground, so that their faces were inches apart.

"Go near Ginny and Luna ever again, and I'll make sure both of your arms are broken," she spat. "Permanently."

Marlie pulled him up by the robes, and threw him on the ground so hard he rolled a couple of feet backwards. Draco grunted in pain as she broke his nose with a single punch.

"That's for all the people you've bullied and taken advantage of in your pathetic little life," snarled Marlie before storming back up to the castle.

Potter, Weasley, Greengrass, and Granger looked at him in disgust before running after Marlie. Draco turned to Crabbe and Goyle, not even bothering to scold them for failing to help him.

"Remind me to never mess with her again." And then he muttered, "Can't believe I liked her."

"You still like her, don't you?" said a smug voice.

Draco turned; Blaise Zabini stood there, smirking at him.

"What the hell, Blaise?! You bloody saw all of that?!"

His best friend grinned. "She kicked your arse."

Draco grumbled. "Aw, shut up! How can I like her when she beat me up?"

"You're a complicated bloke, Draco," said Blaise, helping him to his feet. "On a more serious note, watch who you beat up. I don't think those balls of dirt are the only tricks she's got up her sleeve."

"Me either," he agreed. "Man, those things hurt."

"I'll bet."

Harry's POV

"Marlie! Marlie, wait up!" Harry grabbed his sister's hand, and she flinched.

"Bug off, Harry! I just need need some space!" she snapped.

"What's up with you? All I did was touch your hand," he said gently.

"Nothing. I just need some room to-wait!" she exclaimed. "Do you happen to have some chocolate, Harry?"

Why does she need chocolate? he thought, puzzled. And then he said, "Yeah, what about it?"

"Can I have some?" she asked pleadingly.

"Sure," Harry replied, fishing around in his pocket for a chocolate frog. "Here you go."

Marlie took it eagerly, unwrapped the box, and grinned. "I got Merlin! Brilliant!" she said happily, stuffing the chocolate frog in her mouth. "Mhmm. Delicious! Thanks Harry!"
