May 3rd, 1990.
Me and Alex had an amazing day, we've never swam in the ocean that long! My dog Aislin got stuck in the ocean and a life guard had to save her. Other than that. I think we had a great day. Alex demands we spend as much time as possible together. I'm not really sure why, but I guess I'll find out sooner or later. Can't be bad news right? I know he wouldn't do anything without telling me first. We were such good friends. He wouldn't do that.. I hope..
May 4th, 1990.
I haven't seen Alex all day, he was at school. Other than that my birthday is on May 6th.
I'm so excited. I'm turning 13! I'm finally going to be a teenager. Now my mom can't tell me what to do, ever. I finally have allllll the power. Take that!
May 5th, 1990.
Well, Alex isn't here again today. I bet he's just sick or buying my birthday present. He always surprises me. He makes me so happy all the time. I'm so happy neither of us are moving this year, we get to spend high school together!
May 6th, 1990.
Today's my birthday, but I'm really sad. Alex left. He moved to Virginia. He isn't ever coming back! I'm so upset.. I don't know why he didn't tell me. Did he think I would be sad? Or mad? Or even worse.. Glad? He called me this morning to tell me happy birthday from a Virginia number. Then he told me he moved. He isn't even here on my birthday, I can't believe he would do this to me. I can't stop crying..
