Eight

"Finally Akua and Solomon arrived at the Miami Beach Restaurant. 

Solomon parked his car at Miami Beach Restaurant parking lot.

Solomon got out of the car , went to Akuas' side and opened the car door for her and she came out of the car.

So Solomon and Akua walked hand to hand to the restaurant.

When they got to the entrance, the restaurant hostess saw them and asked for their names and she wrote it down in the book and took two menus and showed them to their tables and they sat down on the table and she gave them their menus.

When the hostess left them , the waiter came and gave them a glass of water to drink.

While they were drinking water.

They were looking through the menus to see what they want to eat for dinner.

* Finally the waiter came back to take their orders.

Akua told the waiter she would like salad with olive oil and broiled Chicken.

Solomon says he will have rice with roasted vegetables, and for dessert they will have pumpkin pie.

So the waiter signed their orders and went back to the kitchen to bring their food.

So Solomon asked Akua what do you think about the restaurant and "she says I love it" it is so big and beautiful she says.

"Solomon says it's the best restaurant in downtown Miami.

Akua " says now I know why this restaurant is so popular because of their great services.

While they were talking about their careers, the waiter brought their food and lay on the table.

And they both started eating and enjoying themselves.

After finishing their meals the waiter gave Solomon the bill and he paid for the bill right away.

Then Solomon and Akua got up and left the restaurant.

The two love birds got into the car.

And headed straight to Solomon's house to continued with the rest this evenings events.

First Solomon suggest they should go for a walk on the board walk.

So Solomon parked the car on the street.

Solomon and Akua got out of the car started walking on the board walk enjoying the weather and found a bench and sat down with twigged hands and looked at the stars twinkling in the moonlight.

"Oh my goodness the stars are so beautiful tonight" Akua replied.

"Yes are aren't they honey" Solomon responded.

" I didn't know that stars shine brightly in the moonlight" it's so romantic" she wiggles her eyebrows at him .

Solomon laughed " Akua you are such a clown" where did you get that trait from" he asked her with laugher in his voice.

" Most people say I take from my father because he too was also a comedian" back in the days Akua replied showing funny faces at Solomon.

*Anyway it's getting late,let's go to my house for cup of tea and some cookies ' what do say Akua " he asked her.

" I will love to have some cookies with a  cup of tea "let's go" she replied.

So Solomon and Akua walked a little faster to get to the car right away it was not safe on the board walk at this time because of the thieves and murders.

Many years ago the Mami board walk was infection with high crime rates and drugs is still the same after 50years.

Solomon and Akua got into the car and was heading towards his house.

Finally arrived at Solomon's home safely,ran out of the car towards the house like racing.

"Well here we are this is my home ,"what do you think dear"he smiles evilly at her and gave her kiss on the cheek.

"Solomon is very beautiful and homey " I love it very much especially the kitchen is so old fashioned and simple 'i like the brick oven Akua told him with a grin when she sat down on the tiny kitchen table in the middle.

" I'm glad you like it let me put the kettle on on stove quickly so we can have some tea and cookies when the water is done.

Solomon sat down next to her and they started chatting for hours until the kettle was well heated.

So kettle stop boiling and Solomon got up and turned the fire off under the kettle, he got two tea cups from the kitchen cabinet, rinse them clean and put two tea bags in the tea cups with spoons pour the hot water in the cups got some milk and sugar from the fridge put them on the tray with cookies and they enjoyed the tea and cookies and talked about their families and their upcoming marriage.

Later Solomon asked Akua to spend the night since it was late to go home.

Solomon opened the drawer and took out some clean pajamas for Akua to sleep in and said " here take these pajamas to wear to sleep since you don't have any other clothes besides your dress in bed.

Akua took his pajamas gently and said " thank you very much for letting me wear your pajamas" I'm very grateful for everything Solomon where would you sleep? She asked him.

Solomon replied " I will sleep in the guest room he came out with his pajamas pants and a tank top from the bathroom.

" But we can sleep in the same bed Akyaa respond Solomon laughed and gave her a kiss on her forehead " I don't think is a good idea we are not proper marriage he replied.

Akua answered back" I think you are right " I'm sorry she said quietly.

" It's okay I will be fine in the guest room just get some sleep so I can take you home early tomorrow morning he responded to her."

"Okay good night Solomon Akua reply to him.

"Good night love sweet dreams don't forget me in your prayers when you go to sleep Solomon told her with love in his voice.

" I won't forget you in my prayers"good night once again and sweet dreams she told him while yawning and rubbing her eyes.

Solomon smiled and tuck her in as a little girl and gave her kiss on her forehead and left while she was sleeping peacefully he close the door quietly behind and went to the guest room on bended knee and started praying for Akua and his family responded Amen and got into bed and fell asleep himself until tomorrow morning.
