Epilogue

Akua woke up early to prepare herself for the wedding when her mother knocked on her bedroom door and she replied yes mom came in and she came with all smiles and gave her daughter a big hug like a teddy bear and asked her " are you ready for your big day! Sweetheart asked her and Akua replied, " yes I am but a little nervous she told her mother" and her mother replied " everything will be fine you don't worry" and Akua replied " "your right everything will go as planned" she told her mother with a big smile on her face.

" Good that's my girl "  I will call Bianca and see if she's on her way to the house," she told her daughter with a big smile on her lips.

Akua replied and said tell her to come right away because we don't have enough time on our hands " she tells her mother and mother replied and says'' don't worry please relax honey " she told her precious daughter and Akua replied and said, " Okay mom I will try to calm down."

Then later Bianca, her hair and makeup artist, came to fix her hair and makeup.

While Akua was getting ready to go to the church, her maid of honor and bridesmaids came with their dresses and hugged the bride and Nicole said " are you ready for your big day" she said.

Akua replied and said, " yes I am" I can't wait to walk down the aisle to meet my handsome groom" she laughed.

Maria says " I am very happy because today is yours and Solomon's'' she said in a cheerful voice!

Yep! I'm so proud of you girl! She replied to Akua with joy.

Yes! Akua you will be a beautiful bride who is about to meet her Prince charming she said blinking her eyes to her

" Aww! You girls are so sweet and cute" she said to her bridesmaids and her maid of honor.

" Of course she will be a beautiful bride while I'm here to make her look good," Bianca replied to the group.

" My daughter is already a beautiful bride," her mother replied.

While they were talking someone knocked on the door.

" I wonder if you can do that," Akua replied.

"I will check it out," Nicole says.

When she opened the door it was skuas father beam in smiles.

" So here is the beautiful bride,'' her father replied in happiness.

" Hi, daddy Akua replied to him.

" How is my little girl feeling today?'' he asked.

Akua replied, " I'm good but a little nervous daddy," she tells him.

And her father replied " it's okay to be nervous honey ' I was just as nervous as you when I was going to marry your mother" he said with a big smile and hugged his beautiful wife in his arms.

" Really dad I didn't know that! She replied.

Her mother says " it's true sweetie, your father was so nervous that he was about to faint she said in laughter.

Anyway, today is your day so I bought you something her father said.

What's in the box Dad she replied, and he said it's an old family necklace your grandma won on her wedding day.

So Dad opened the box and took out some pearls and showed it to her.

Dad is beautiful! She answered! and Dad replied back and said yes it is now yours.

So her dad put on the pearls over her dress and said you look so beautiful today Princess he replied to her.

Thank you, Dad! She says to him.

Anyway, I am going downstairs!

I will see you later!  he said to her and went downstairs.

Akua answers back okay dad.

After he evacuated Nicole helped her get dressed so she could be at the church on time.

So after Akua put on her wedding gown she looked in the mirror to see if everything was correct.

Then her mother came and said wow you look, beautiful Sweetheart!

Her mother said and Akua replied " Thank you mother.

Are you ready? She asked her and she said yes I'm ready to go!

Her mother answered and said let's go then.

So she and her mother went downstairs while everyone was waiting for them.

Her father took her hand and headed to the car and they both sat down in the back.

And the driver started the car and headed for the church.

While the driver was driving the car, Michael asked his daughter are you nervous?

Akua replied, '' I'm a little nervous but excited she told him.

They finally arrived at the AME Church in South Beach and the driver got out and opened the car door and Father and daughter got out of the limo and walked into the church.

When they entered the church all the bridesmaids and the maid of honor were waiting for them at the front of the altar and the piano started playing the flower girls and the ring boy entered the church first then the bridesmaids and follow behind them the maid of honor and last but not least the bride and her father entered the altar everyone got up to see the beautiful bride going to met her groom.

Akua's father gave his daughter to her husband to be and told him to take care of his daughter and Solomon replied I will I promise, he told him soon to be father in law.

Solomon took Akuas hand and put it in his arms then everyone sat down and the priest started the holy matrimony rites and Akua and Solomon were saying their vows in front of family and friends. Finally, the preacher announced and said I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss your bride and Solomon pulled the veil over her head and kissed her passionately and everyone clapped and cheered for the newlyweds.

And Solomon and Akua went into the pastor's office and signed the marriage certificate.

After signing the marriage certificate they left the office and headed to the car to go to the Grand Ballroom for the party.

After they left everyone headed to the Grand Ballroom to celebrate with the new couple.

Later in the day, everyone was at the Grand Ballroom enjoying themselves, when they heard a car horn everyone knew it was the bride and groom and Akua and Solomon arrived at the Grand Hall with a change of clothing.

Solomon was wearing a blue kaffian and Akua was dressed in a blue gown with lace on the side and they sat at their table and the Dj starts playing music and people got up to the dance floor and had fun.

Akua and Solomon also got up and went to the dance floor and also were dancing as well.

People were dancing to the latest tunes plus oldens and everyone danced and danced until nightfall.

Nicole told Paris and Prisca that it was a great wedding.

Paris said I wish them happiness and joy she replied.

Prisca replies and says I hope their marriage lasts for a long time" she said to Paris and Nicole.

Nicole replies and says '' I wish them both good luck she says to Paris and Prisca and all three of them get on the dance floor and dance the night away.

After everyone, wine and dine. Akua gets ready to throw the bouquet all the single ladies get on the floor to catch the bouquet and Akua says are you ladies ready and they said Yes! All alright, one, two, three and she threw the bouquet and Nicole caught it and is next in line.

And then Akua and Solomon left the ballroom, got into the car and headed to the airport for their honeymoon in Italy and started the journey as husband and wife.
