After what feels like hours, Lucy finally finishes the paperwork and calls Social Services. Standing at her desk while on the phone, Lucy watches Kate and Farah colouring in together. After talking to Social Services and sending the paperwork off, Lucy hangs up the phone, making her way towards Tennant's office. 'Paperwork is submitted, given our jobs, it should be approved within an hour.' Lucy states, leaning against the door. 'Hang around here until you hear, and then you two can take her home.' Jane answers, looking over at Lucy. 'See what you can do to help.' Lucy nods, before exiting the office, running into Kate. 'Farah was staying at a friend's house when her parents were taken. It was after the mom went to drop Farah off that they found out, Farah asked them to bring her here.' Kate states, glancing back at the room. 'We should be able to take her home within an hour. I'm going to see where the team is at.' Lucy states, kissing Kate's cheek and taking the pad with the information. 'I love you.' Kate calls, watching as Lucy whips around. 'I love you too.' She calls back.
Entering the war room, Lucy hands the pad over to Ernie, who takes it. 'Where are we?' Lucy asks, moving to sit down. 'I've tracked the name, found him, however there's no set address for him.' Ernie answers. 'I've got his phone tracked, the next time he makes a call, we should be able to triangulate the location.' He finishes. Lucy nods. 'Let me know when you have a location. I just hope we aren't too late to find Farah's mom and dad.' Lucy replies, feeling her phone buzz. 'I have to go, keep me posted.' Lucy states, moving to leave.
Walking towards her desk, Lucy shuts the computer down and grabs her bag along with Kate's, before heading towards Tennant, with a soft nod. 'Take her home, Tara.' Tennant calls, smiling as Lucy enters the break room, only to be hugged tightly around the waist by the child. 'Kate was just saying that I could be staying with you two, until we find my parents.' Farah rambles, causing Lucy to laugh. 'That's right, Sweet Girl. Why don't you pack up your colouring stuff and we'll get out of here.' Smiling as Farah runs over to the table, Lucy reaches out for Kate, pulling her closer. 'Let's take her home, we'll figure out everything when we get home.' Hearing Farah coming back towards them, Kate smiles and reaches down for Farah's hand. 'Let's get you to my house.' Lucy smiles as Kate takes her own back, before noticing that Farah had her hand out for Lucy's hand. Taking the child's small hand, Lucy and Kate walk out of the office.

After getting to Kate's house, the trio make their way into the house. 'This will be home until we find your parents.' Kate states, opening the door, as she and Lucy set about their after work routine. 'It's very pretty, Kate.' Farah states, moving towards the window overlooking the beach. Lucy moves towards the child. 'Is there anything you would like to do? Or get from home? We can take you home to grab a few items. Or we can go shopping?' Lucy asks, bending down to the small child. 'I don't want to go home, but I do want my bear.' Farah states, moving to lean against Lucy's shoulder. 'I do need to do some food shopping, how about we make a trip? We can swing by the house and either Lucy or I can run in and grab your bear?' Kate asks, watching the scene in front of her. 'Is that okay?' Farah asks, turning to face Kate. 'Of course, Sweet Girl. I'm just going to get changed.' Kate states, smiling at Farah, who grins.
Kate returns a few minutes later, dressed in a pair of jean shorts, a t-shirt and joggers. 'Why don't you get changed, Lu. I'll hang out with Farah.' Standing up, Lucy, allows Kate to take her place. After getting changed into leggings and one of Kate's button ups, Lucy steps back into the room. Smiling, Lucy looks at the scene in front of her. Kate and Farah were sitting on the couch, reading a book.

Laughing, Lucy watches as Kate and Farah run through the store, tagging each other. Lucy already knew Kate was good with kids; she had seen Kate with Julie. 'I'm going to get you.' Kate grins, pretending to be scared and allowing Farah to tag her. Making sure they had all the food they needed, Lucy steered the pair towards the kids' clothes. 'Okay, Farah, how about you chose some clothes and shoes?' Farah nods, moving through the clothes, choosing a few items of clothing and a couple of pairs of shoes. 'Is that all you want?' Kate asks, before watching the child, who nods. 'Would you like books or anything?' Lucy asks, watching Farah light up. 'Books?' Lucy asks as she leads the pair towards the books. 'Choose whatever books you want.' Kate states, moving to stand behind Farah. Farah picks up a couple of chapter books, handing Kate the books. Kate nods, dropping the books into the buggy.
Pulling up at Farah's house, Kate quickly ducks into the house, grabbing the teddy bear from the bed, along with the child's pillow. She knew how hard it could be to sleep in a new place. Exiting the house, she makes sure to lock the house up, before handing the teddy to Farah, who lit up. 'Thank you, Kate.' Glancing over at Lucy, who had just hung up her phone, Kate couldn't read the expression. 'Go sit in the car, Farah.' Kate asks, moving to Lucy's side. 'Her parents have been found, Kate. She needs a home permanently. They're gone.' Lucy states, looking up at Kate. Both instantly look at Farah, and the severity of the situation hits.
