Waking up

small little authors note this gets a little intimate towards the end of this chapter.

Zara Pov.

Kira and I walk side by side though a calm forest, I know it's not real, it felt good to be on our own again after so long. We can only come into physical contact with our wolves if we are in danger of dying, meaning I must be on the verge of death. I thought as I petted Kira and kept walking, we came into a clearing, a clearing I know all to well. It was where Jace proposed to me, where my pack was killed. Good and bad rest in this place, but the question is which will it control me.

Kira sits right where Jace died, whining and whimpering. Only I could understand what she was doing, she was talking to his wolf that was left behind when he died. When we die our wolfs are left behind, forced to relive the memories that we had shared, in till they are chosen to be another ones wolf. Aside from Kira's whimpering I can hear a series of short high pitched beeps, and what sounds like someone screaming "Stay with us, come on Zara, stay with us."

Zack Pov.

Joshua came back later that night and woke me up, trying to tell me how Zara was but I was so sleepy that I disregarded whatever he said as not important.

"Zack wake up, they said that Zara was doing better and she is going to be taken of life-support in a few days. I think that she will be able to leave a week or two after that so, now all we have to do is get you better." Joshua said as he woke me up again, I think with the hope that I will stay awake this time.

"Wait, she is getting better, as in not wanting to give up on life anymore?" I asked hope seeping in to my voice. I tried to get up and walk to her room, pain shot though my body, I throw a sling of cuss words out. This all happened before I had my feet on the floor, Joshua stayed by my side with a hand on my shoulder taking some of my pain and inflicting it on his body.

"What are you doing?" Joshua asked me though gritted teeth, from the pain I guess, when I finally stood up on my feet.

"I'm going to see my mate even if it kills me. If she dies then I will die just to be with her, forever." I said as I tried to walk to the door only to almost fall on my face, if only Joshua hadn't been there to catch me.

"Your too unstable to do anything, not one of the doctors have laid a finger on you they were too busy with Zara to do anything except get the antidote in you." Joshua said as he set me back in the hospital bed and paged one of the doctors.

Doctor Edward Jones one of the few doctors that were not in Zara's room or checking up on other patrons in here walked through the door, and asked Joshua a bunch of questions like "How long has he been awake?" and "Has he been moving around since he woke up?", it went around like that for a little while. Eventually I grew tired of being talked about as though I was not even alive.

I groan as I felt a jolt of pain out of nowhere, Dr. jones walked over to me to repositioned me trying to ease the pain, but nothing would work. I finally realized that it was not my pain but instead that of my mate, Zara. I guess she is finally accepting me as her mate, the very weak bond was full of pain so I took a lot of it. I sent joy, happiness and maybe a few of my um... fantasy to her in hope that it will help her in the long run. I passed out from the pain not long after that and later woke up, this time David was sitting beside my bed with a book in his hand reading by the look of it.

"How long have I been out?" I asked my voice cracked from lack of moisture, I reached for the water bottle that sat on the bedside table and guzzled it down, looking around for another to drink.

"About a week, before you ask they pulled Zara off life-support and she is doing very well. They say she will be out of here in a week at most, and they are moving her into this room with you, today, hope she don't mind the view" he said with a slight chuckle as though he know something that I didn't.

"What the hell are you talking about David?" I asked him. He just chuckled and gestured down to my crotch where there was a raging boner that was very visible though the thin hospital gown and blanket.

"Now here is my question. Who in the hell were you fucking in your dream last night?" He said as he was trying not to laugh at me while I tried to hide it to no avail.

"What the hell am I going to do? Help me get rid of it!!!" I whisper-shouted at him. David laughing his ass off, just held up his index finger as though he was saying 'give me a minute'. Zara might of done this to me, sent me lust while I slept, trying to get back at me for sending her parts of my fantasy though the mind link we now share.

"The only things that I know of involve some chicks or your hand." David said when he finally caught his breath from laughing.

"Where is Zara? And is she awake yet?" I asked David trying to think of a way to hide it for if she gets here.

"She is awake and their walking her down the hall now. Better find a way to fix that or hide it." David said that and he set his book down on the bedside table as though it was a hint, which would solve my unruly problem.

"I'm stealing your book for a little while, David." I said as I split it near the mid-way point and placed it over my boner just as the door opened and my mate, the causer of all of this walked into the room.

She walked up to my bed brought her head down towards my ear and whispered "When everybody leaves I'm all yours". She walked away from me to her bed, putting some extra sway in her hips that only I noticed. After a while everyone but David had left he sat there, talking to Zara about what all has happened since we had been admitted in here. She looked at me with lust evident in her eyes, bit her lip and looked away.

"David would you please leave us? Zara and I have some things that need to be worked out as soon as possible." I said and used a little bit of my alpha voice hoping to get him moving real soon.

"I wish you the best of luck Luna, he has been a little needed today." David said as he walked out of our now shared room.

Zara Pov.

"David would you please leave us? Zara and I have some things that need to be worked out as soon as possible." Zack said and used a little bit of his alpha voice to get him moving real soon. I know it was his alpha voice I could feel the power fill the room and that drove Kira crazy with want

"I wish you the best of luck Luna, he has been a little needed today." David said as he walked out of our shared room.

I looked down blushing because I knew what he meant. I was what caused it I had been locked up in a room by myself wanting him, and only him, nothing they did could help me. That is why they moved me with him, just so whatever was with me would go away. Many of the doctors think I'm fixing to go into heat and that the wanting is just my body getting ready for Zack, I think their crazy.

"Now I got some questions for you my dear." Zack started as he pulled the book off his lap and I saw the full extent of what I caused. "first, are you the cause of this "little" fella? Second, what you said in my ear are you sure you want to do that? And lastbut not least,did you accept me as you mate?" He asked me with worry evident in his voice.

"Yes, yes, as for the last one come here and I tell you that answer." I said while I fixed my bed for what was about to happen here. I felt strong arms wrap around my small waist and pull my body completely against his, his boner rubbing against my lower back. I bite my lip and finish getting the bed ready. I bend over to get my blanket that was brought in by Joshua a few days ago. Zack picked me up, turned me around in his arms. I wrapped my legs around his waist, his hands firmly planted on my ass to keep me from falling.

"I'm here, now tell me. Did you accept me as your mate, your one and only?" he asked. I looked in his eyes only to find love, worry, and lust.

"Yes I did and I'm loving every minute of it." I said and right after that I grinded against his boner. I heard his gasp come first then some very quite moans escape his mouth. I looked in his normally hazel eyes were dark blue as his wolf was in complete control, he throw me on the bed and I screaked from the excitement. I moved away from him, he chased me on the bed I came to a sudden stop and turned around. He ran into me I pulled his head down and kissed him.
