Before kitten and Alpha were a thing, kitten only say alpha as a friend. Kitten is demisexual, nya only experienced a sexual attraction after an emotional bond was made.
Kitten is also a grey ace, so sometimes when alpha is kissing nyan's neck, nya will pull away.
Alpha: you're not in the mood huh?
Kitten: I'm not feeling sexual.
Alpha: cuddles?
Kitten: CUDDLES!!
But that's okay because alpha knows and alpha accepts that Kitten won't always feel a sexual attraction. Either way alpha loves Kitten and both alpha and kitten are valid and loved.
