Before kitten and Alpha got their own place they had only one way of keeping in touch: video calls. They video call as often as possible, in the kitchen, in the bedroom, in the park, sometimes even on holiday.
Kitten is thankful for modern day technology like video calls. Even when they're so far apart they both can get to see what the other is doing. Video calls also help to keep Alpha and Kitten safe, allowing one to warn the other when there's shady people around.
Alpha: How's my Kitten doing?
Kitten: just about to eat, you?
Alpha: sketching.
Kitten: can I see?
Alpha: it's not done yet!
Kitten: oh, okay!
Thank goodness video calls exist!
