     Maddie smiled as she stood up and put her dishes in the sink. "The food was great mom but I really have got to get my schoolwork done." She said as she headed upstairs. "Okay sweetie I'm glad you liked it!" She yelled upstairs before her daughters door closed.

Madeline Bennet is a 23 year old only child studying to be an archeologist.

She wanted to pursue her fathers career as he went missing during a mission in the Virgin Islands when she was only 14. She wanted to find out what was so captivating about finding old treasure, and why it was so important to her father.

She was currently doing a research essay her professor had assigned her. It was about Montezuma's Treasure.

Essentially, what had happened was that when Hernán Cortés arrived in Tenochtitlan in 1519, it's emperor, Montezuma had believed they were gods, sent from the Heavens, so he cherished them by hosting a ceremony for their arrival. He gave them many of their riches including gold and silver. Though that wasn't enough for the Spaniards so they decided to take Emperor Montezuma captive and ransack the entire city. The people were not happy and thus started a rebellion which somehow got Montezuma killed. The city's riches were forced to be dumped into the waters of Lake Texcoco. The remains yet to be found.

Maddie looked over at her clock on her nightstand.  "I doubt any of them are gonna be able to call at this time ." She thought to herself. Just then she heard two notifications go off at the same time.

She laughed to herself as she read the messages. What a coincidence. Then that wave of tiredness hit her, but it hit her hard this time.

She decided to go take a hot shower, get ready for tomorrow, then get in bed. As soon as her head hit the pillow Maddie was instantly relieved, it was like all the stress in her life had faded away the second she closed her eyes. Such a wonderful feeling, it happened to her every night of course, but she some how can never get used to the feeling.
