Chapter 4: Flower

Author's note:
Maybe a lot of you guys wonder why my chapters are so short now. I write on my phone now just because it's either I'm busy to write the chapters on my laptop or I just use my phone because it's quick access. Apparently, I think the word count here feels like it makes my chapters a lot more shorter. I don't know why.

Levi's POV:

"You're gonna leave Eren hanging and not going to say goodbye to him before you leave?"

"I have no rights to say goodbye to him neither look at his nor talk to him." I told him.

"You know he will find you."

"Yeah, he will find me and from there we will become enemies." He leaned back on the wooden chair and just crossed his legs.

"So, what are you planning to do now?"

"I'm gonna be going back to my place, say goodbye to my photography career, and I'll be traveling to find my answers I needed." I got off the sofa and headed towards the door.

"If Eren begs me-"

"Tell him Levi Ackerman is gone. He doesn't exist in this world anymore." I interrupted him and turned the knob allowing the door to creak.

"Faking your death huh? What am I supposed to say on how you made your death state?"

"I'll think of something." I pulled the door back allowing it to make an open space for me to walk through the doorway as I stepped out. "You'll be helping me throughout my journey from the deal we've made." As the door closed by itself allowing me to reveal one last hideous smirk he had on his face.

There will be no more existence of Levi Ackerman.

I arrived at my place unlocking the door with my silver brass keys allowing myself to step in the untouched floor for a few weeks. I've brought myself to my room allowing to mess up my closet by throwing clothes I need for traveling. A duffel bag and a luggage was all I needed to travel around the world.

A vibration ricochet the table stand as I peeked to see who was calling. My eye brows furrowed from what I saw. Caller ID - brat It seems like I have to go through things a lot more faster before he finds me.

I took off my shirt tossing it aside, as i brought out a fresh v-cut black shirt to put on. I scurried for a black jacket and put then on allowing my hood to rest on the top of my head.

Exiting out my house I grabbed my duffel bag and let it rest on my left shoulder, turned off my phone and put it in my back pocket, and finally letting the luggage roll. I locked the door to my apartment and left the key under the rug, as I made my way to my car. Allowing the car to warm itself up I've tossed the baggage in the back seat.

Everything is messy.

No, I've became a mess.

I've let myself enter in the driver seat and shifted the stick to reverse then drive once I was able to exit out of the parking lock.

Arriving at the next destination on where everything had started I've entered the building and seek myself to find Petra cleaning the frames stuck upon the wall. She heard the bell from the door, as her gloomy face suddenly lit up just from seeing me.

"L-levi, is that really you?!" She was surprised from my appearance, as I took of my hoodie allowing her to see the real me.

"It really is you!" Tears were starting to form from the corner of her eyes.

I rolled my eyes from her reaction of seeing me, but I let out a slight smile. "Yeah, it is me."

She puts down the cleaning utensils, "Do you want me to make coffee and we can have as slight talk?"

"No, there's no need for that... I just needed to stop by, say a little something, and just go like nothing happened."

She crossed her arms and looked at me with a disappointing look. "Why are you being so-"

"Pushy, rude, ignorant? I know I'm all of those don't need to tell me." I interrupted her.

"Did something happened along the way?"

"A lot of stuff happened along the way to be honest." I leaned back on the bare wall allowing myself to be comfy with the cotton padding touching my back.

"Like what?"

"We saved Eren, Erwin finally got caught, the drug was a pain, I've gotten nightmares, I killed Eren's mom, and now I'm gonna be gone from this world." I explained to her.

"Ah, I see... a lot of stuff did happen. So you want me to keep quiet about your existence that you came here this morning from Eren then right?"

"Yes please, I'll be glad if you've actually done that." I gave a smile at her. "Also, demolish all the pictures and cameras that are in this building."

Her eyes widened, "Isn't that like your-"

"No one can find out that Levi was alive."

She shook her head in denial, "I don't think I can do that for you no matter what even of I'm your assistance."

I brought my hoodie back on, "Then don't say anything..." As I made my way out of the building and to my car.

I've heard her call my name one last time, as I looked up at the stairway. "Levi, I hope you can back again... not just for me but for Eren?"

I just gave out an unsure smile and brought myself in the car allowing myself to drive away from the good to the bad memories.

We are like flowers.

We go through a cycle.

Where once we start as a seed, and by time to time we grow the knowledge we need to grow each part and bloom. Although, if one messes up they wither or doesn't make it in time to become something beautiful.

I'm just withering.

The petals are falling.

One by one.

I'll be no one.

I'll become someone else.

A new flower.

A new me.

I stepped on the breaks hard allowing myself to rest my hands and my forehead on the wheel. I looked up allowing myself to look at the cabin I was nearby.

Flashback:

"This guy might help you out reveling your unwanted past."

"Where do I find him?" I picked up the picture off the table and looked at it.

"It's a pretty long drive but he should be at a cabin upon a mountain hidden deep within a green forest." He explain and then scoffed, "You know a hidden dragon awaiting to eat it's next bait?"

End

I tossed myself out of my car and dragged.my heavy body to the cabin door. It was a bit voggy allowing my head to be in a sudden urge of pain. Unless, there was some type of scent within this air circulating around me. I brought out a knock on the wooden stubs that made a door.

The door opened allowing me to be face to face where I would seek the answer from this person who stands in front of me.

"You... I never realized you were still alive."
