Chapter 6: Who I Was (Part 2)

Author's Note:

Hey guys, if you guys do not know that I am hosting a contest (cover contest) for my LINKED series. I actually posted out the details to it on my recent chapter of LINKED, so to save your worries I will also post it down below. Also, before any confusion happens this is a continuation of the past of Levi (Flashback). It will identify if it's the end unless it says the end of his flashback.

Levi's POV

A cane hit me from the back of my leg and the front of my legs allowing myself to drop on my knees. "What a little brat trying to disobey me." I looked at the ground and then straight up at him with cold eyes. "I told you to kill him not beat him up."

"I can't kill someone who doesn't do any harm." I spoke out. The bottom ledge of the cane was placed under my chin to make me look at him more.

"Tristan Gulliory, do you know what lies out there in the world?"

"A lot of stuff lies out there in the world." I told him.

He gave a clicking of this tongue as the ledge left my chin. I looked at him walking around to his desk. "Darkness, hatred, and selfishness lies in this chaotic world we are living in."

"That doesn't mean we should go ahead and kill someone-"

"Do you have any idea what that person has done, Tristan?" I looked at the ground and just gave a slight nodding. "He killed dozens of women's by attracting them to a little shop he owns. He has gotten away with the crime just by stealing the data from the stupidity of polices."

"Kill dozens of women's? How in the world would you even know something-"Paper flew right in front of my face; slowly. I looked at the paper that landed. It was an identification of the guy I needed to end his life. Other sources of papers landed and I saw brutal photo's that made me want to gag.

"So, he did all of this?" I had my arm rested on one of my leg and the other covering my mouth.

"I told you didn't I? You don't know what lies out there in the world." I got off knees and stood up slowly. He was looking out at the window and then turned around to get a good look at me, as he smirked. "First off in order to become one of the top assassins you have to put back your feelings. Don't ever let your feelings overcome you. Secondly, there's no need to show mercy. Thirdly, take out your targets as quickly as possible."

Blood spread around within a second to my face. I looked at the body that lay on the floor; dead and cold. My cold gleaming eyes trailed the blood running down. "Everything is so filthy." I wiped the blood off my knife and put it back in its pouch. I heard sirens going off as I looked out the window.

The door slammed open as the several guys shouted. I gave out a slight smirk and drop a flash grenade on the ground, as I ran and shattered the window by slamming into it. I landed on the concrete ground allowing myself to roll a bit and then ran around the corner letting my ears do the job to see if the route was clear.

The bottom of their heels stomped on the ground and ran in different directions from the several of commands that were given to them. I waited for a bit and gave a glimpse around the corner, as I saw the route clear. I slowly walked and then ran towards the tall brass gate. I brought myself to jump and gripped the bars, as I climbed up and jumped over it causing myself to land on my two feet.
