CHAPTER FOUR - Andrei

Ela's POV

"Oh, A--andrei?" nauutal na gulat kong bati sa kanya. At pinilit kong maging normal. "Hi! How are you? Nice to see you again." at lumapit ako sa kanya at nagbeso.

I met Andrei years ago na din nung bumisita sila last time. Hindi pa siya ganito kagwapo noon. I mean, he got the looks na din naman talaga. Maybe, I was just really into Mark noon kaya talagang deadma lahat. Sabay sabay na kaming nagpunta sa nireserve nilang table.

Magkakasabay kaming naglakad. 

Grabe, sobrang bango naman neto. And he grew really well huh? I hope he is as kind and as gentleman as before. I hope there's no red flags. Ay teka, what were you thinking Ela, ano feeling mo naman bet na bet ka? Haha

"So how you've been Ela? The last time I saw you was like 1975! Haha"

"Ay grabe sa 1975 naman. Haha. I'm good. Doing pretty good. Second sem will be starting tomorrow, excited but you know, medyo nakakatamad pa din. At some point, I have this thinking that I just wanna quit school at tumambay na lang sa bahay. Haha! How about you? You're not really into soc media, I haven't seen any updates in your life. What's new?"

"Oh well, I am not as active as you in social media. I've seen your posts ofcourse. I won't be taking selfies and upload it. Haha. Not my thing. Hmm. I am taking business management in NYU which really helps me a lot. I am learning a lot. So it's kinda cool" -Andrei

"Oh yea, that sounds fun! Interesting actually. I would love to learn business and do business in the future but I know it has a lot of Math and i hate it. That's why i am in Science field. Haha!" sabi ko naman sa kanya habang natatawa at medyo kinakabahan na dahil parang natatanaw ko na ang iba pa naming kasama.

Habang papalapit na nga kami sa table ay sinalubong ako ni Leila, kapatid ni Andrei na mas nakakabata sa kanya. Naging malapit kami ni Leila dahil sobrang sweet nyang bata at isinasama din sya ni Mari sa aming bahay kapag umuuwi sila from the States. Andun din sina Mon, Joseph, Charlyn, Regine. Sila yung mga pamilyar na mukha sa akin. May tatlo pa silang kasama na ngayon ko lang mamemeet. 

"Oh my gooosh, ate Ela!! you made it! I missed you ate! How are you?" pagsalubong sa akin ni Leila na yumakap at nagbeso.

"I'm good. I'm good! How are you? I missed you too! You look good tonight!"

"Hi Ela! Remember me? Charlyn! It was so nice meeting you again. You look fabulous tonight! I love your dress!" si Charlyn na tumayo pa upang magbeso sakin.

"Ofcourse! Thank you! So are you! how's everything? How was your flight?" tanong ko naman sa kanya habang lumalakad kami papunta sa upuan namin.

"Oh, it was okay. We had layover in Taiwan which is not bad. It was a 8hrs layover so I got the chance to visit the city and buy bubble tea. Haha! I would like to introduce you first with our cousins. This is Mon, Joseph, Regine , ..."

"Charlyn, we knew each other. Come on! Hi Ela!" si Regine na tumayo at lumapit sa akin at sumunod na din sina Mon at Joseph. 

"Hahaha. I was just kidding and just to make the vibe a little bit warmed up. Haha. yea, so i know you knew these uglies here *pointing to the side of Regine, Mon and Joseph*, but I would like you to meet these other ones here *wink wink* hahaha. So this is Sophia, Mon's girlfriend. This is Hannah, Joseph's. and this is Angela, our mother side's cousin.

"Hi! Hello! I am Ella, I'm friends with Mari for a very long time. She's basically my unbiological sister. It was so nice to meet you guys again *pointing to Mon, Joseph and Regine's side* and meet y'all *pointing to Sophia, Hannah and Angela."
