If Jophiel hadn't learned anything in that orphanage it was hot to pick a simple lock with make- shift materials. It only took him a few minutes, a nail from the floor boards and a peace of spring from the mattress. He decided to conduct his little escape plan in the wee hours of the morning so that everyone was good and sleep, and the matron on watch duty would be really tired. His planning was perfect as he slipped past the matron that was on watch, he saw that her head was down in a book and she was fast asleep. Jophiel had to remove his shoes when walking through the orphanage because the sounds of his soles hitting the floors reverberated through the halls, and for some of the lighter sleeping sisters that was all they needed to be out looking around seeing whats going on.
The streets of Azul were beautiful at night. The magical blue fire lights that illuminated the streets gave the whole city the look like a dim blue star keeping the place lit. No matter how many times he would sneak out at night Jophiel would constantly be mesmerized by how beautiful the pale blue streets were. Jophiels enthrallment was cut short by the sounds of armored footsteps heading toward him down the cobblestone street.
shit, guards!
Jophiel thought to himself . There was a night time curfew for children and if he was seen out at this hour, they would apprehend him and take him back to the orphanage. He nimbly ducked into the shadows just as the two guardsmen turned the corner. Jophiel slipped into an alley and began to scale the side of a stone sided building. When he got to the roof he stayed low and crept across the rooftop. The adjacent building was a whole story taller than the one Jophiel was on. From where he was he could see into the windows of the second floor of the adjacent building. At first he thought nothing of it and started looking for a way to climb down until a particular window caught his attention. It was pretty bright in their due to candles and Jophiel couldn't believe who he saw standing in the window. It was the tall sailor in the red coat that he had bumped into that very morning. His sword was drawn and he had a cold look in his eyes. Jophiel froze in place and wouldn't dare move, he was frightened that he would be seen, he was also scared to death to see what was about to happen to the unlucky soul sitting across the table from sailor in the red coat.

"You lied to me Mr. Wellington." His voice was deep and smooth.
"I-I, this has all been a misunderstanding..." The fat balding man stammered and shuddered. The tall sailor just clicked his tongue and shushed the man.
"Shh, shh, shh, do you know who I am?" The sailor asked calmly and lazily swung his short sword back and forth, an amber glow coming off the blade as he did, leaving magical whips in the air.
"Yes... um... Jagger Rhodes?" Wellington said more asking than telling.
"CAPTAIN! Jagger Rhodes!" Wellington jumped, staring at Captain Rhodes' sword he had forgotten that their was another person in the room it was an elf standing with his arms folded in the far corner of the room. His clothing looked a bit too fine to be that of a sailors. White shirt with a black leather vest, gold buttons on it and gold embroidery around the shoulders. He wore black leather pants that fit well but weren't too tight and he wore pointed toe boots. If his hair was any blonder it would be as white as Jophiel's and his eyes were so green they practically glowed. His long hair hung lazily over his shoulders and in his face as he glowered at the fat human.
"When you address the Pirate King, you do so with humility!" The elf spat with so much force in his melodic voice it mad Wellington draw back a bit further.
"Andrenelle, my friend, its quite alright." Captain Rhodes said without looking back.
"Aye Cap'n" Andrenelle answered.
