  5:25 am.

The heart beating of its starts to die. From soaring to dropping like a mountain to a straight line. The emergency beeps started as the dim lights in the ICU room started flashing in blood-red lights. Sirens blared as the doctors immediately started rushing their work.

The trolleys were being pushed into the rooms. Doctors and nurses banged the door, again and again, going into the room in and out. Everyone was in a hurry, insanely hoping the girl could find the light for survival.

"Machines!" The main surgical doctor says. Nurses and doctors rushed again, picking up the equipment needed and wearing gloves and coats, putting their masks on.

"Patient name, Allie. 17 years old, the missing girl who had been broadcast all over the city," the nurse said, finally pushing the girl's bed inside, right next to the surgeon's table. The beeping was still nonstop as there was finally room available for her. The doctors managed to place the machines to refrain her heartbeat, but it was rather weak. Since there weren't enough rooms and doctors to solve the case, she was placed aside from the hospital's narrow hallway with the heart-beating machine to detect her pulse. But things deteriorated in just a matter of minutes.

"How's her case?" The doctor asked, looking at the machine showing the heartbeat. It was stopped for a second and everyone was busied at their own spots, fetching everything ready.

"Found in the ditch, wet, soaked to the bone," a nurse answered, handing the electrifying machine to her. The other doctors around helped to rip her torn shirt and strapless bra, pressing the CPR machine to the places.

"Everyone to their places," the doctor said, "back off!"

Everyone did like what they said. They were jumping away as the electric shock shot through her body, which sent her flying off the bed a little, and then landed with a loud thump.

  Beep... Beep...

Everyone sighed as they noticed the red lights started going off. The numbers were finally coming back and they could hear the normal beeping noise of the machine. It means that she was, currently, out of danger.

"Where should we start?" The doctor asks, staring at everyone, "besides from suffocating of the water, affecting the lungs..."

"Her right leg..." the other doctors noticed as some nurses covered her body back with a thin sheet of blanket. The main doctor pulled the little corners away and found there were several pieces of glass thrust into her leg. Some are large and some small, but it seems to be deep.

"We needed a syringe with anesthetic," the main doctor says. The others didn't need a hint to know and handed the syringe with liquid in the metal tray. He injected as the others watched him, sharing sight.

The other doctor slid a surgeon's knife and was about to remove the glass by cutting.

  BEEP BEEP

The flashlights were on again. Everyone turned to see the heartbeat rate. It was dropping dramatically like a rock hitting the water's surface, just that no drips of water splashed.

"OH my!" The doctor said. Just as he was about to start the surgery, the girl went into another crisis. He placed the knives back onto the metal plate.

"Her heart is deteriorating..." the nurse said, "her heartbeat..."

"CPR! CPR!" The doctor called, and everyone was back to the first step. They ripped off the blanket cover and placed the machined back again.

"Sir, the wound..." the nurse pointed at the girl's leg. Blood was splattered out all of a sudden. Everyone stepped back as the doctor was trying to get some cloth.
