  *Bang!*  *Bang!*

Anson had woken up to such a noise that he had peeked outside to see what was going on. He was ready for school, combing his hair back and straightening his tie out. He noticed himself in the reflection of the mirror, he was looking well, like always. He walked out of the door, opening it ajar, he was wondering if there was no one outside, like the day when he opened it to see nothing but Allie opposite the road. Well, that was the cloud in the silver lining, sacrificing his sleep to see a girl he could try and save. He wanted to be a hero, but now he'd aced his tests and been a topper full of flying colors. And that could be by saving someone, weirdly, but that makes him feel proud.

"Hey," It was Allie, dressed up in her uniform and her backpack right behind. This time, she was dressed up neatly, her hair combed and tied back in a low ponytail. Her skirt was well ironed and her shirt was neatly tucked under her checkered skirt. Besides, she was holding a lunchbox in her hands. It was wrapped in colorful pink sakura cloth on the outside just like the Japanese girls like to do.

"Um... hi?" Anson replied, curious to know why Allie was here, holding a lunch box in her hands and knocking on his door. Even though both of them did talk before and had even hung out alone in the secret hideaway place, which might have improved their relationship, he still feels a gap between them. It was thick enough that they were close in the distance as Allie stepped closer to his doorstep. He felt his beats faster, his pulse and blood running fast seeing Allie alive again.

He had undergone a day with the real world yesterday. He had had his night's sleep and travels back in time at the same time. Now, he was in a world where he was living in the past, where Allie was alive and well.

"What are you here for?" Anson asked, looking at Allie's blushing face. She seems to be a little frightened to talk to him and her hands were shaking and sweating hard. He tried to smile warmly to let her guard down and feel calm, which surely had the opposite effect. Her face puffed harder and continuously sweating.

"I'm here to give you this," after moments of calming herself, she could stop her shutters and jostling movements. She handed out her bento box right in front of Anson, bowing, and had her head down completely, avoiding his sight.

"What's this?" He asked, puzzled. Why did she become that nice all of a sudden, when she was so cold days before?

"A lunch box I had made earlier, and I want you to accept that," Allie replied, handing in the lunch box to Anson. He tried to reject her offer but her continuous pleading made his heart melts. Soon after several persuasion, he accepted her invitation and took over the lunch box. He unwrapped the cloth covered and found a brown box sealed with stickers on it as decorations.

"I guess... thanks?" He said, looking at her. She just smiled back as a 'welcome'.

"It was kind of a gift about how awful I had treated you," Allie explained, looking down and back up, accidentally catching up glances at him, "I had kind of reflected myself about how I treated people, and as I think about how I kind of treated you, I felt an urge of need and urgency of saying how sorry I was about the things before..." She said, " I was... kind of mean about slapping you right on your face. For twice."

"Yeah, right," he joked back, "someone has pulled herself slaps on my face saying it was blemishing my colors which last for days, even better than the luxury makeup which was on the big advertisement screens of " Anson looked at her, "and that made me feel extreme pain too. And the main point was the pain lasts longer."

Allie's face showed signs of regret as Anson blurted out this as a joke. She rolled her eyes and was about to leave Anson knowing he was doing the wrong thing. Allie was serious, and it wasn't the time to start making fun.
