Chapter 12: The Hidden Truth

"Hyung what's wrong?" Taehyung cried out.
"Poison.." Jungkook gasped out.
"No no no no no please please please ... hyung!!" Taehyung cried out. Jungkook squeezed Taehyung's arm not able to speak out, but he was still trying to make Taehyung looked at him and trying to comfort his crying mate.
"Help!" Taehyung cried out hugging Jungkook to his chest. And that was the last thing Jungkook heard before he lost his consciousness.

At the pack clinic.
Taehyung was an emotional wreck. It should be him in Jungkook's place. And thinking about the situation that Jungkook was in there unconscious and he was standing here being safe, he can't help but punched the wall repeatedly. Sorrow and rage pierced him to his core.
His wolf whimpered inside his mind. Hoseok and Bogum stopped him from hurting himself.

He slumped down on the floor and sobbed. Someone was trying to poison him, but who? May be they were the same people who had attack him before, but now they were inside the pack despite of all the warriors guarding the whole pack. Or was someone in the pack working with them? And now instead of him his mate was hurt.

Taehyung felt a rage filling him up. He stood up, hands clenched into fist, he was ready to kill.
'KILL KILL KILL.' was all his wolf chanted in his mind. He walked out ignoring the called from Bogum and Hoseok.

"WHO?" Taehyung growled as he pinned the man who served them the food, his hands gripping on the man's throat.
"Please please spare my life... they.. they said they will kill my family so..so.. I.." the man cried.
"WHO?" Taehyung asked again. The man didn't answer but was looking at a direction. Taehyung turned following the man's gaze but he saw only thin air.
"Please please they will kill my family." the man's cries continued. Taehyung tightened his grip on the man's throat suffocating him.
"BUT YOU HAVE HURT MINE." he roared almost killing the man. Everyone had their eyes widened watching the scene. Taehyung was filled with rage.

Namjoon and Yoongi came running and tried stopping Taehyung.
"Come on Taehyung, let go, we need him to find more information." Namjoon softly said. Taehyung didn't listen and the man stopped breathing.
"Jungkook need you Taehyung, go to him." Yoongi tried again. Hearing his mate's name calmed Taehyung and he let go of the man who fell in the ground unconscious.
"Take him to the dungeon." Namjoon ordered the guards to take the unconscious man.

'Thump... thump...thump...
Taehyung was lying his head on Jungkook's chest, listening to his mate's heart beat. His tears wetting Jungkook chest. He was relief and felt peaceful hearing those beat though it was weaker than Jungkook's normal stronger ones. Jungkook was in coma for now. The pack doctor had informed that he will be in coma for few days as Jungkook's wolf was very weak. His wolf have absorbed all the poison from Jungkook's body and saved Jungkook's life. The poison was a very strong one that could kill any weak wolf at ease. But Jungkook's wolf being an Alpha and a very strong one at that,
he was able to save Jungkook and the wolf himself.
"Please moon goddess, protect my mate." Taehyung prayed.

Taehyung's whole family along with Ari came after hearing what happened to Jungkook. Ari was hugging her mother both of them sobbing in each other's arms. Taehyung rest his head on his mother's lap, eyes closed, face covered with dried tears. His mother sadly looking down at him patting his hair.

"He will be okay Taehyung." Hyungsik softly uttered looking down at his brother who looked extremely tired with all the crying. Hyungsik was worried with the whole situation. Everyone was worried. First the alpha mates were attack in the woods and now the poison. Someone almost kill Taehyung and if it wasn't for Jungkook, what would have happened to Taehyung. Hyungsik and Ari decided to stay in Moon Stone until Jungkook would wake up and help Taehyung with the situation.
