The Royal Family and noble's society were in disarray.

Word had gotten out about how the trash eldest son of Count Henituse was kidnapped during an important event inside a royal palace, in which three princes had attended. Somehow the perpetrators had bypassed enormous amounts of security without being noticed.

Guards were placed at every entrance, and had escorted every noble back home. Since that day, rumors had gotten out of proportion. Some claimed it was planned by other nobles to get rid of the heir of Henituse, but Cale had attended instead of Basen. Others believed that nobody would search for him except the Henituse family becuase of his status of trash.

Either way, it had been about a week since Cale had been kidnapped. For all they knew, he could be dead in a ditch somewhere and nobody would ever know.

Alberu was in a constant state of indecisiveness. It was his fault that Cale had gone outside, leading him to his doom. He was the one who internally congratulated himself for calmly concluding the situation. His knights were also deemed incompetent by the neutral Henituse family as well, since they hadn't found him for over seven days now.

Perhaps the search would go faster if he joined in.

___

Choi Han and his group were also helping in with the search. Choi Han felt indebted to Cale as the first human contact he had since coming here, and the Molans felt obligated to help because of their history with Cale.

Even with them helping, Cale Henituse hard to find.

After regrouping on the 8th day, something surprising happened. A priestess of the God of Death had requested an audience with the Crown prince and the rest of the group, mentioning how she had helpful information.

It was strange that this person knew each of their names, as they were not well known yet, but meeting with her couldn't hurt, especially if it might help in their investigation.

Splash!

"CoUGH, COUGH, ugh..."

"Wakey wakey sleeping beauty! Hope it's not too cold!"

'Bastards... that was ice water.'

Cale just glared at them instead of responding to their provocations. Standing in front of him were four burly men, each equipped with their own weapons and gear.

The tallest of the four suddenly slapped Cale's back, causing his wounds to open up again.

He hissed from the sharp pain. Oh how he wanted to kill them.

He had no way of knowing how much time had passed except for the fact that every so often, these guys would wake him up. Like clockwork, it was the same order of events.
