The morning sun is already shining brightly over the busy town of Suovi. The gentle sunshine pierced through the curtains of his second floor room and lighting it up. The gambler mage was awaken and he opened the windows to let the refreshing morning breeze in.
He drank some water to freshen up and get his Radlanovian Archmage robe ready. It had been a while since he fought anyone even with the slightest of effort, so last night's sleep felt especially nice. He takes a deep look at the Radlanovian insignia on his robe once again then looks at his hands.
His hands, arms, and whole body are glowing bright purple which was the true color of pure mana energy. Anyone within 100 meter radius of him can feel the intense mana flow that was coming from his direction, but then he took a deep breath and releases it and the mana energy dissipates back into thin air. Adran had been waiting for Kyleas downstairs when he suddenly felt the intense mana flow. Not long after that, Kyleas showed up and walked straight to him.
"Ah so you're awake, mage", said Adran.
"Right, I never told you my name didn't I, how rude of me. You can call me Kyleas, everyone calls me that", responded Kyleas.
"Okay then, Kyleas. You told me that you've got something to ask me about, ask away", he replied.
"First thing first, tell me all you know about the Gvazians", asked Kyleas.
"To be honest, I probably can't tell much than what you might've already know. But I'll try anyway", answered Adran.
"They are a terrorist organization that pretty much controls the whole Gvaz Islands that was formed after the Gvaz Peninsula was separated from the mainland. I also knew that every member of the Gvazians are equipped with some kind of augmentation device", he explained.
"Augmentation device? I guess that's why the people we fought last night was much stronger and faster than the average bandits, go on", said Kyleas.
"Correct, and every single one of them have different augmentations. Thinking about it now, it does sounds impressive. These augmentations was created by the 'Tyrant of Gvaz' himself. From what I heard, he was a former Radlanovian that was exiled to Gvaz because of the side effects of these augmentations caused on the average person", Adran added.
"Wait he was a former Radlanovian? How do you know this?", he asked.
"Well I'm not too sure myself, but that was what I heard from my network of informants, and based on my experience with them, they know what they were doing", replied Adran.
"If this is true, I can contact my colleague back at Radlanovia to do some research on who could this 'Tyrant of Gvaz' possibly be or even dig up anything about the Gvazians", said Kyleas.
"Yes, that would be great. Please do, Kyleas", Adran answered.
"What else do you know about them?", Kyleas asked again.
"They primarily targeted mages all over the world, which might have something to do with the Tyrant's past connection with Radlanovia and as Josephus said, you were one of their main targets. Probably because of you are a high rank Archmage from Radlanovia", he explained.
"Grade S Grand Archmage, by the way. The one and only", said Kyleas smugly.
"Of course, my bad", said Adran, clearly uninterested.
"Come on, that's the only thing I can brag about these days", replied Kyleas.
"Anyway, I apologize for not listening to your story back at the tavern yesterday evening. Please also tell me about it", he added with a sudden serious tone.
