Will puts on his costume. "Three, two, one..." Jonathan says and takes a photo of him. "Great. Hold up the proton blaster." I say and Jonathan takes another one. "All right, now turn to the light," I say and my brother takes another one.

"Hey, Robin," I say when I notice her standing at her locker. "Hey" "I was wondering, do you want to watch a movie or something tonight?" "Yeah sure, wait you're not going to Tina's party?" She questions. "I wasn't really planning on it, do you want to go?" "No, of course not." She replies. "Great, let's go to my house tonight." "That sounds good." I smile.

I was sitting in my room after our movie night when I heard a knock on my window. What the hell? I go over to the window and I see Steve. I open it and he comes in. "Steve, what the hell are you doing here tonight?" I whisper yell. "I don't know, you were the first person that came to mind. I'm sorry I shouldn't have come here," "What do you mean? What about Nance?" I ask him and I now notice his red, puffy eyes. "Oh Steve, what happened?" He sits down on my bed and I sit next to him. "I think she broke up with me tonight." He answers. "What do you mean?" "She got drunk, and I accidentally spilt her drink on her shirt. We went to the bathroom to clean it off, I wanted to take her home and the next thing I know she starts saying it's bullshit." "What's bullshit?" "That I'm bullshit, that we're bullshit. That we killed Barb, that we're pretending everything's okay and that we're just pretending to be in love." "Oh Steve, I'm so sorry" He starts crying again. I wrap my arms around him. "Talk to her tomorrow okay? She told me about what happened when you went to visit Barb's parents. He climbs out the window and I grab his hand and start running. "Where are we even going?" "I don't know" "Great thinking. We're in the woods, it's dark and raining" I see a tree and put the walkman on a dry spot. I put on my mixtape and summer of 69 starts playing. I start singing and dancing. Steve is just standing there and laughing. "Did you seriously drag me out here for this?" "Come on, it's fun" I grab his hands and he starts to dance too. "See?" "Yeah, you're right." The song ends and love of my life by queen starts playing. "Really this song?" "I can't do anything right for you can I?" I tease. "No, you can't." He teases back. He puts his hands on my hips, I wrap my arms around his neck and we start to slow. He twirls me around. I slip on the ground which causes him to fall on top of me. We both start laughing. I look into his eyes and then to his lips. He does the same. I start to laugh again and hide my face in the crook of his neck. "What's wrong" "I don't know. Come on we better get home before we get sick again."

"Y/n, wake up." "Shit, it's my mom. Steve, wake up" "Oh shit. Shit" "Just go out the window. I'll see you at school. Tell me how it goes okay?"
