Our Strange Duet

I shouldn't cry but I love it

Finney's POV
Maybe it's just me but I feel like Vance has been avoiding me recently, we're usually connected by the hip but as of recently I barely see him the only time I really get to talk to him anymore is when he walks me home even then he seems off but it's probably just me like I said

No One's POV
Finney continues his walk to meet with Vance at the front of the school once he got there Vance seemed to be no where in sight
"He'll be here soon he's never that late....usually" Finney mumbled to himself.
'10 more minutes then I'll go' Finney thought and so he waited half and hour later (he lied to himself broski) and still no sign of Vance he sighs and is about to start his walk home when he freezes feeling hands wrap around his middle he whips his head around and sees a familiar head full of curls "God Vance— you scared the shit out of me warn me next time would you" Finney said laughing slightly
Vance just hummed his acknowledgment towards Finney gave him a quick kiss on his temple and grabbed his hand dragged him along to take him home

~Time skip to Finney's house~
The walk to Finney's house was pretty much silent he tried to spark some sort of conversation with Vance but it seemed he wasn't in the mood to talk ( yet again)
(Finney's POV)
I gotta find some way to spend time with him it's been........THREE weeks three whole weeks since I've had alone time with Vance maybe I can get him to stay for a bit nobody's home today anyways.
(No Ones POV)
As they got to Finney's house he stopped before the door Vance pulled him into a hug
(SOMEBODY KILL ME GOSH I HATE THIS)
"Hey uh—Vance?" Finney mumbled into his shoulder "Yea?" He said "I—well" Finney started as he slightly pulled away a from the hug "I was wondering if you maybe wanted to you know stay here for a bit we can watch movies or something.....?" Finney finished quickly "What about your dad?" Vance asked from previous encounters with dear old dad
"Oh—he wont be home until sometime late tonight and Gwen is stay with a friend so we'll have the whole house to our selfs" Finney said smiling hoping that would convince Vance to stay. Vance looked away for a few seconds before looking back at Finney tilting his head "Sure then lead the way pretty boy"
