Its been 3 weeks since Leo left. I keep reading/singing the song he wrote me. Its so sweet. No one has come to the island since Leo. CRASH I look out of my window to see what that sound was. Its a ship. Great another boy who will leave soon. But, no this isn't just any old boy that the gods sent. I recognize thus one. ITS LEO!!!! Oh my gods! I run down to the beach and hug him as soon as I get there. "LEO YOU CAME BACK!" I scream at him "You actually came back" I whisper to myself. But somehow he hears me whisper and replies"Of course I did, I swore on the river Styx. Plus your the most amazing girl I've ever met, and...well..." He stutters "You what?" I interrupt. "I think I'm in love with you" he spits out(not literally) "I love you to Leo Valdez supersized mcshizzle!" I shout over the top of my wet cheeks. "I want you to come home with me Cali" This is crazy! I mean me going to the normal world with a boy! But this isn't any boy, he's the one that came back. This is to confusing. I've never left before. Wait, maybe this is why he came! Maybe the gods sent him to fall in love with me and take me away! "YES!!" I shout "OF COURSE I WILL!" I never thought this would happen. I'm leaving. Oh my gods! I'm actually leaving the island! I can't wait! Then out of the blue, contained in my own excitement, I kiss him! I've never kissed anyone before. I don't know why I did now but... I did. And I'm going to live with Leo! Leo's face seems so surprised that I kissed him. He has wide eyes. Then I pull away. "I'm so sorry I...I...I don't know what came over me. I would completely understand if you don't want me to come anymore." I apologize. Leo says not to worry and he still wants me to go with him. We go and pack my stuff. He's telling me about all his friends. Some of the are called Annebeth, Percy, Frank, Hazel, Piper, Jason and more. He says I'll really like them. The only thing is I'm worried that I won't. Or what if the hate me. Great now I'm panicking. "Don't worry, its gonna be fine." Leo reassures me. By this time its about 9:30pm and we need to go to bed. So we do.
I'm so exited! We're leaving now. But what if I get sea sick, or I fall out the boat, or I forget something. "No... stop panicking, you'll make yourself hyperventilate. " I think to myself.
