Chapter 4-The real world

I would tell you about our journey, but it would be boring for you. All we did was dance, talk you know just casual things like that. But we are here now. He took me to a place called New York. Its so pretty. Especially at sunset. Leo's friends (the ones I mentioned earlier) met us at a massive building called the Empire state building. And its so tall! The tallest thing I've ever seen. We are all staying in a hotel. I can't remember what its called but it is very posh and quite expensive. "So... This is our room. The others artre in the surrounding rooms." Leo informs me. "OK... Huh? What's that box?" I ask. It has a black middle, a silver frame, a little red light in the corner of it. And a very small long box by the did such has little buttons on. I click the red button on the little box. And suddenly a few fish start swimming in water. But the room isn't full of water? How is that happening? Then I press a very button which a a number 4 on and all of a sudden the fish go away. "OH GODS!! WHAT IS THAT MONSTEROUS THING!" I scream. "Its called a puppy. Cali. Have you never seen one before?" He asks "Obviously not." I reply "Its small and cute and fluffy. Not monsterous. Mist girls love them, find them amazing." He tells me. "Well I'm not most girls." I say feeling embarrassed. Whoops! Silly me! "So how did it get in here?" I ask Leo. "Its called a TV... Its a form of entertainment conducted by electricity. You wouldn't of had it on your island." He reassures me. Well I think to sum up my first day in New York in one word a would say...um... Interesting
