America was an incredibly large country on this Earth. With thirteen states labeled each as State and every city or town labeled as City. It's history, a bizarre tale of pilgrims from a different country with little freedoms who came to the deserted country for freedom, and freedom they got. For years, the country of America began to grow as more and more people came in search of freedom, making it what it was today, a large modern land with cities, towns, nature, and historical artifacts that shaped this country. Where dreams became a reality, where people could be free.
The country was mostly peaceful, not excluding the amounts of crimes and mischievous activities that occur, but, like all of the countries in the world, it was not safe from danger. In City 30, State 5, citizens were minding their own business when a skyscraper suddenly collapsed, making a large cloud of dust. Shocked and terrified, people fled for their lives, the dust from the fallen building began to settle, revealing the cause of it. Inside it was a tall and overly muscular humanoid being with its entire body being a dark and dull silver color, having sharp claws and clawed feet. Its head was the only thing that revealed a fair skin tone.
Its human-like head had pitch black eyes, a strong nose, strong jaw, and cleft chin. The top of the creature's head had an enormous amount of tall spikes of the same color as its skin. Of unknown origin, this male specimen, this monster, was from his underground world. His name was Bakal, but was known to his comrades as Iron Skin.
"It appears that I may be the first of my comrades to emerge." He said. "Now, the killing shall begin."
With tremendous speed and his sharp claws, Bakal dashed around the city, destroying buildings and killing innocent people. They were too slow to flee from him, for the monster was dashing at them at supersonic speeds, cutting them to pieces with one slash from his claws. In a couple minutes, Bakal had almost destroyed a quarter of the city when he was suddenly hit by a powerful force that knocked him into one structure, causing it to fall on him upon impact. A large cloud of dust formed, the monster coughed, emerging from the rubble. When the dust settled, Iron Skin saw who was the cause of harming him.
It was a young man, 18 years of age, wearing a tight black t-shirt with a blue lightning bolt on the chest, blue gloves, tight blue jeans, black boots, and a blue cape. All of this clothing was made by this young man himself. He had black hair in a buzz cut style, dark brown eyes, and an athletic physique. He was a handsome young man and he was a hero, though wasn't well known. His name was Electrolite.
"Was it you who harmed me, human?" Bakal asked.
"It was, yes. I won't let a monster like you destroy this city and kill all these people." Electrolite answered.
Iron Skin laughed, saying, "I have good reasons for destroying this city, mainly killing all of humanity. I will not let some human like you get in my way, powers or not."
"In that case, it looks like I'll have to end your plan right here and now."
After saying this, with tremendous speed, Electrolite dashed at Bakal. The monster charged at him at great speed and two began to fight. As they fought, they traveled across the entire city at blinding speeds, crashing and charging into buildings as they fought. Iron Skin threw the young man around and scratched at him, Electrolite dodging his attacks and hitting the monster with many powerful punches. Eventually, they fought in the sky when the young man threw the monster into the air.
Up there, Electrolite flew around and at the monster, hitting him with fast and powerful punches, damaging putting many dents into Bakal's hard skin. When he saw this, the monster roared in anger and stopped the hero from hitting him, hurling him to the ground, creating a large crater when Electrolite hit on impact. In pain, the young man got up slowly and was then hit by thousands of punches in seconds by Iron Skin, while the monster pushed him across the streets while hitting him. Stopping this, the monster swung his claws at the young man, Electrolite dodging and parrying each attack, finally bringing his arm forward and shooting out a blue lightning bolt at his chest that sent him into a building. After this, the hero charged at Bakal at lightning speed, hitting him with many punches and lightning bolts from his heads, while fighting around the city and in numerous buildings, destroying them.
After this, Electrolite finished the battle by hurling his fist into the monster's face, breaking his nose, teeth, and fracturing his jaw. The young man then hit Iron Skin with thousands of lightning-speed punches, powered by his electric abilities, in his torso, damaging and breaking his strong skin. With one final blow, Electrolite swung his arm back and shouted, "Charged Lightning Strike!" After saying this, the hero shot his arm forward and shot out a powerful lightning bolt two times faster and five times stronger than that of a normal one. This attack damaged Bakal terribly, destroying his skin and severely damaging his muscle tissue and muscular system, as well as sending him into four buildings, making the last one crash on top of him.
The young man flew to where the monster was and moved every piece of large rubble out of his way with ease, thanks to his great strength. A minute after digging, Electrolite finally saw Bakal, struggling to breathe as he wheezed, slowly dying. The young man then lifted up Iron Skin in his arms.
"Tell me, why? Why are you doing this? Why do you want to destroy humanity?" He asked.
Bakal chuckled weakly, saying, "Because of what you humans did in the past and still do to this day. For years, our kind has strived above and underground all over the world, but when you humans came you slaughtered us, killed us one by one for you all to have this land all to yourself. We lived underground for a long time, but your machines that you built continued to kill us. Now, there are only the few of us who remain and, now that I will die soon, five of my kind are all that is left."
"I'm sorry to hear that, I am, but killing humanity isn't an option to thrive. You could for peace with us, our two species could live together."
"It's too late for negotiation. It was already planned to kill all of humanity, nothing more. I may die, yes, but five of my kind will be coming soon, emerging from the underground to destroy all of you."
"If that's so, then I'll be the one to stop them, no matter what it takes."
"Who are you, human?"
"I am a hero who protects humanity, who saves the world. I am Electrode."
Bakal chuckled weakly. "It was nice knowing you, Electrode." It was the monster's last words, for he took his last breath and passed away.
Electrolite placed the monster down, now knowing that he was going to have to deal with more threats that are soon coming. Getting up, the hero noticed several people emerging from the places they hid for protection.
"You said your name was Electrode? You're a hero?" One of them asked.
Electrolite nodded, saying, "Yes, I am."
The people around him muttered to each other for a moment until they all looked at him with hopeful smiles, one of them saying, "Thank you, for saving us."
The hero smiled and said, "You're welcome."
After this, Electrolite flew up to the sky and away from the city, for his clash with Bakal destroyed half of it.
