Several days after the battle with Iron Skin, Electrolite relaxed in his small house that he lived in. However, he was still aware about what the monster had said about his kind coming to the surface to destroy humanity and was prepared to fight them, no matter where they may be. While doing his hobbies, like writing, cooking, drawing, and training with his powers, the young man tried his best to hear from news outlets about any disasters happening in the world. Bakal was not specific about where more of his kind would show up, but Electrolite suggested that they would appear at random either in different parts of the country or of the world. Preparing for this, the young man trained more and more with his powers and fighting skills that he learned by himself, for he was self-taught and knew 80 martial arts, as well as inventing 20 of his own.
As the day went on, Electrolite cooked dinner for himself, consisting of delicious meats and rice, a sizable meal. Before he could eat it, however, the news channel on the television was reporting breaking news.
"Oh shit, here it comes. Is this it?" He said to himself.
The news anchor on the tv said, "We interrupt this program with breaking news. Bystanders on the streets of City 28 have reported seeing a man, who appeared to be dark clothing and holding a sword, fighting a villain that was attacking a grocery store with fire powers. News outlets in the area reported the villains actions, the individual calling himself Hard Fire. Witnesses saw the battle between the dark-clothed invidual and the villain, the battle lasting around two minutes until Hard Fire collapsed unconscious. People are assuming whether or not the person who fought the villain is a hero, having police looking for the suspect. We will notify you of any further details, and now back to your program."
"Huh. Doesn't sound like the monsters that iron-skinned guy was talking about, but I'll go investigate and make sure this person isn't a villain."
Electrolite quickly put on his hero outfit that he wore days ago and left home, flying into the sky to City 28. Within minutes, the hero arrived at the city, soaring across the sky, looking down for any sign of the dark individual. Several minutes passed and the sky began to cover up with rain clouds, Electrolite saw the forecast earlier in the day and was told that there would be thunderstorms in the state. The hero could not find the person the police were looking for and was about to give up until he spotted the individual going into a desserted area of the city where most buildings were overgrown with vegetation and abandoned. Nobody lived there.
The hero flew down and landed right in front of the person. It was a young man, 20 years of age, wearing a dark grey jacket that had two coattails, a grey shirt underneath, long baggy black pants, and black dress shoes. They had short curly brown hair and grey eyes, carrying a katana in black and dark grey colors, shiny silver lines on the sheath of the sword. This was a swordsman who was also not a well-known hero, his powers being that of darkness. His name was Sullivan Greyson.
Greyson stopped and stared at Electrolite when he landed in front, coldly saying, "You're in my way."
The young man crossed his arms and replied, "I know I am. I'm just here to ask you some questions."
"Is it about what happened between me and that fight with the villain, Hard Fire? If so, then all that I will tell you is that I was doing the right thing by saving those people from the fiend."
"Well, I know. I saw it on the news. You stopped the bad guy, but people think that you aren't a hero. If I had to guess, I'd say they think you're a villain trying to be better than the others. I personally don't think you're a villain, and what you did is the right thing."
"I appreciate that compliment. Are you a hero? I've never seen or heard of you."
"Yeah, a new hero. Been one ever since I was 16. You may not know me, but I'm Electrode, though I don't go around advertising my name for attention. It's just to let everyone know that I'm there for them."
