Sailing away? That's just an act, me and Akagami-san had a talk about visiting my parents before so now with an excuse given to Makino of "leaving to get something at home"
I hurriedly went after the Red head's ship that just stopped by hiding in the shadows waiting for me, "Im here!" I shouted siting by the deck "the direction is 7 o'clock east, let's go faster... I have a bad feeling about something happening" i said and no one dared to ask what i mean by bad feeling but they followed anyway and headed to our island, we arrived and thankfully nothing bad happened 'yet' i led the pirates to our traditional  Japanese styled home as we arrived with my parents have a bbq party outside using a sea king meat "Yo! Elaina!" Said by Shanks who's just standing behind me by the woods with a grin of relief and sadness on his face catching my parents attention "oh! SHANKS!!" my mother replied happily but with a slight pained expression on her face that is only noticed by me and Ben Beckman and my father who also noticed it twitched his eye showing a slight annoyance to the red head who ruined his wonderful bbq date with his wife "tsk, if I'm still a marine I'd definitely catch you red head" my dad said in a threatening voice "DARLING! don't be like that, Shanks visiting us after decades of separation, you should be more welcoming" my mother uttered scolding my dad "hey, it's ok Elaina... I was the one who interfered you guys😅" shanks said apologizingly which my mother replied to "haha... It's ok, come on sit with us" my mom offered
"HAHAHAHA WHAT AN UNEXPECTED COUPLE TO ENCOUNTER" yassop laughingly interrupted.
The rest of the day went by with everyone partying and then with a flash of an eye... My parents started to fade "M-mom! Dad! YOU'RE FADING AWAY!!" i exclaimed as the island started to rumble and cracks on the ground appeared. Before i could even comprehend what's happening shanks grabbed me with his remaining arm and took me away from the island as we watch from his ship my parents fading figures waving goodbye at us and telling me advices "s-shanks what's happening? Why did you took me away? why are you so silent!?" i stared at the Red head's eye and realized that he knew it would happen...or at least they told him

FLASHBACK
Shanks:Ahhh you're still beautiful as always Elaina, it looks like I'm the only one who aged🤣
Elaina:looking handsome with one arm aren't ya?
Shanks:MEANNN!
*Elaina giggled*
Elaina:Shanks... You remember when i told you why we can't be together right?
Shanks:yes, it's because I'm not real.
Elaina: Right...i just want to ask a favor from you for the last time
Shanks: last favor? What is it?
Elaina: Earlier we discovered that we're having a problem with the portal so we have to be gone for hours to fix it and that would take decades here, we might not be able to see our daughter grow up and guide her in this world where justice only lives in few places...so please with your power, do anything to protect her. She doesn't have to sail with you if she doesn't want to but you must let her know the you have her back and guidance, she's quick-witted and a genius but that doesn't mean that she's stronger than everyone... Shanks:I got it Elaina, you don't have to worry about her
*Shanks said with the expression saying "trust me"*
Elaina: i trust you *hugs*
Yns:HEY BACK OFF THAT'S MY WIFE, YOU RASCAL I'M FOR SURE GONNA END YOU!!!

It took me quite a bit to hang on but I can't let what happened today to stop me and hold me back, i should stop building my own barrier from everyone and instead i should cope with the people who i have left, i know there will be times where I'll get home sick but it's all part of my future and I'm sure it'll be great. The island we created didn't really disappeared like my parents but instead it became invisible and only me who was also its creator can see it, observation haki users might feel it but it's up to them on how they'll feel about that uneasy feeling. For now I'll only focus on moving forward for i know that my parents are healthy and well.
