The Long Run

Everything was quiet and warm. Beth tried to look around the room without moving too much. Nancy was curled up in Steve's arms, the hair of his chest still twirled up in her fist. Eddie was sprawled out on the bed, one hand on his dick and the other cupped Beth's left ass cheek. She lifted his hand from behind her, kissing each finger before rolling to face him and settling his hand on the bed beside him.

The smell of sex and weed was fading from the air. The four of them had gone for hours, Steve and Eddie even got so worked up and stoned, they kissed each other. They were bonded for life, and Beth wondered how long it would be before Eddie and Steve asked for another go. She grabbed a pair of blue jeans and her torn up Grateful Dead shirt and walked quietly into the bathroom. The water always took ages to get warm. She undressed and stared at herself in the mirror.

Her mind went over each bruise and bite. Her chest was almost entirely purple. Deep red, rounded marks made a trail from her ass to her thighs. Nancy was weirded out by how much it turned Beth on to be hurt. She had tried to show Nancy how it feels, but it was clear she wasn't interested and Beth didn't want to pressure her.

Steam filled the bathroom, finally signaling the water was heating up. Beth softly sang to herself as she lathered up her hair. "I used to hurry a lot, I used to worry a lot, I used to stay out 'til the break of day," she grooved. As she slopped conditioner through her hair, she started to sing louder. "Oh that didn't get it, it was high time I quit it, I just couldn't carry on that way."

Beth made quick work of shaving her legs and underarms. She needed to get all of these people out of her house as quickly as she could. It was time for her to go pick up her son, and she had to figure out what to do with Eddie in all of this. When she offered to let him stay with her, she meant it, and she knew that meant he was going to have to meet Scotty.

"Ohh, I did some damage. I know it's truuue. Didn't know I was so lonely—" the shower curtain flashed open to Eddie, smiling sleepily. "'Til I found yooou", Eddie sang back to her. "Really? Eagles?", he teased. Beth nodded, lathering up her wash rag. "I'm old, remember?"

Chills ran down to Eddie's toes as Beth kissed his neck and began washing his back in soft deep circular motions. "Can I wash your hair?", she asked. Eddie chuckled. "I don't think I've actually washed my hair in weeks." Beth nodded, "That's why I'm asking, dear." He turned to face her, open mouthed in mock insult. "How dare you!", he yelped, pulling her toward him so their mouths met in the stream from the shower head.

After they were done washing each other, the pair stepped out into the bathroom. Beth wrapped her hair up in a towel as Eddie shook his out all over the floor. "How do you do that?", he asked. "How do you roll your hair up like that?" This wasn't the first thing that was a reflex for Beth that Eddie had asked her to explain to him. She didn't realize how much he had really raised himself until she had to show him how to fill an ice tray. "I thought ice only existed at restaurants," he had admitted.

Beth stood behind Eddie, her hands holding his hands. "You bend over and put all your hair down," she instructed. "Then, you place the towel behind your hair. You spin it like this, then..." she moved to in front of him to finish up. "You stand up and put it back. You can tuck the end up if you want." Eddie kissed her on the forehead and walked back to her bedroom.

Steve and Nancy woke up not much later, groggy and disoriented. Eddie could see on Nancy's face she was reliving their night of sin. "It's Sunday, Wheeler. You can go repent", he teased, "Jesus was here and God heard you saying his name over and over and o-" Steve put his hand up. "Okay, man. We get it."

Eddie hopped down the stairs. His bleach washed jeans hung low on his waist. His hair was still wrapped in that fuzzy purple towel, two stray curls popping out at his right temple. The laundry pile beneath Mike Wheeler's lanky sleeping body held any hopes Eddie might have at finding a shirt to wear without going out into the snow topless to dig through his van.

As the W.A.S.P tee was pulled from beneath his face, Mike flinched awake and shouted, "No mom!" Eddie sniffed the shirt, frowned, and pulled it over his head. "Wake up, children. Your chariot awaits." Dustin snored loudly. Lucas opened his eyes, startled from the sound. "What happened last night?", he asked, rubbing his eyes. "You all passed out and pooped on my parade. You were a bunch of sleepy babies."

Mike and Lucas stared at each other. "I don't think that's right," Lucas stated. Mike stood up. "How did I end up in a pile of dirty clothes if we all just fell asleep like babies?" Eddie shrugged. "Look, all I know is you all got really weird and then you fell asleep. I figure it's just the thing where toddlers act like drunk people until they wear themselves out."

Dustin started mumbling in his sleep about Suzie. As Mike moved to wake him up, Eddie grabbed him by the shoulder and shook his head. "Oh Dusty Bun," he cooed in a high pitch voice. "My daddy doesn't like you but I don't care. I want your fat nerd cock so bad Dusty Bun!" A smile grew across Dustin's sleeping face. "That's enough," Lucas protested. Eddie gave him a death glare and continued.

"I want you to fingerbang me at nerd camp", he squeaked. Dustin's eyes shot open. He pulled back his fist and swung. He landed a really decent hook into Eddie's left eye. "What the fuck, man?", Eddie yelled. Steve and Beth bolted down the stairs. "What's the problem here?", Steve demanded.

"Dustin was having a wet dream and then he woke up and punched me. Just your normal Sunday morning festivities," Eddie replied, removing the towel from his head and walking up the stairs. Beth followed Eddie.

"What the hell did he do to us last night?", Mike asked. "We were all walking through Ice Fall Glade, there was a giant creature blocking our path, and then BOOM we wake up down here." Steve shrugged. "Maybe you guys don't have the stamina to play DDD all night anymore." Dustin scoffed, "It's DND, and if you don't tell us what Eddie did to us I'm going to go home and tell my mother you all left us here alone!" Steve nodded, one eyebrow raised. "You think it's a smart choice to get yourself banned from ever coming around? Knock yourself out."

Nancy shouted from the top of the stairs, "Come on boys, I have to drop all of you off and make it to church." The boys stomped up the stairs and climbed into Nancy's backseat. Steve offered to drive. "I don't have time to take you home, too. Can't you just bum a ride from Eddie?", she asked as she started the car and drove away.
