My eyes cracked open a bit. I checked my watch to see the time. it was 2am. I heard something shake outside. I didnt know what to do and i didnt wanna wake anyone up so i went outside myself. I had Sam's blood in me so i wasnt scared. He had given me a dose before bed.
I quietly opened up the tent and went outside. To my shock there was a huge man standing in front of me. I couldnt figure out if it was a man or an animal. It looked like a man but was giving low growls. its body was shivering due to the cold wind blowing accross. Looked like this creature was a bit hurt. He had longish hair and a muscled up body
I went a bit closer to the creature to see what was wrong. I noticed the creature was bleeding. His knee was a bit bruised and his hand was bleeding. I saw tears in the man's eyes. I felt pity. "Hey there, no need to bed scared, let me help you" i said to the creature hoping he would understand. The man came closer to me and sat down on a log.
I sat down beside the man and noticed his bruises. "Hey, do u need some medicine?" i asked assuring him that he was safe with me. "please" the man spoke to my surprise. "dont leave, i'll be right back" i whispered to him. I quietly went into Lucas's tent to get some plaster and solvent. On my way out i picked up a packet of chips and some warm tea that was left.
"Caroline?" Ariana whispered "shh" i gestured. "come out with me" i told her. Ariana got up from her sleeping bag and followed me outside helping me with the things i was taking. Ariana's eyes popped open when she saw the man.
"Ari?" the creature gave a faint smile looking at Ariana. I was completely shocked. How did this man know Ariana? "James?" Ariana asked with a tear in her eye. The creature nodded slowly. "Ariana whats going on? how do u know him?" I asked cooly. "James is my brother. He came to this forest years ago and got lost in the cave with the others. I thought he died." Ariana said crying once again. "aww its okay, lets get James comfortable then we'll see what to do okay?" i assured them that everything was going to be fine.
I took the medical supplies to James, used solvent to clean up his bruises and plastered the really harsh ones. "Ariana, give him the chips and the tea, and i'll get him one of Tyler's t-shirt and his jeans. I bet it will fit him" i said "thanks" Ariana smiled.
I quietly went back into the tent and opened up Tyler's backpack. I pulled out a grey long-sleeved t-shirt and a pair of sweats. I quietly walked outside and handed them over to James. "Here, Lucas built a little covered shade over there" i said pointing to a little cloth covered tent "you can change there". James smiled and left quietly.
"Ariana, are you okay?" i asked looking at her "yeah i am fine, i asked James if he wanted to stay with us and he agreed. He could be great help. He just escaped from the cave you know?" she told me. "shh Ari, ofcourse we'll keep him with us. He's special to you and that makes him special to us.
James came back and was all clean. "hey you guys talk, i'll go to bed now" i said "thankyou so much" James told me "its no problem JAmes" i said. "hey and bunk him up with Tori and Beck." i suggested to Ariana and i left.
The next morning Sam woke me up. "Hey princess, wake up, time to change and move on" he reminded me. "Sam, i have something to tell you" i said yawning. "sure, but you better brush your teeth first" he said. i smiled. Sam took me to the cover where James changed last night. Apparently we were the first ones up. I narrated the whole James story to Sam and Sam looked shocked.
"Please lets keep him, he's Ariana's brother, she's so nice to everyone" i asked Sam. "okay love, i'll talk to Tyler" he assured me that everything will be fine once again. "now we better get changed and wake everyone up. Sam got me changed into a fresh black color t-shirt which was a bit big on me. I combed my hair and put it half up half down as usual.
Sam changed into a fresh shirt too and we both walked out of the cover to wake everyone up. "morning people" i said entering Lucas's tent. Ariana and Lucas were already up talking to James. Seemed like Ariana had told Lucas everything. "Caroline, you saved James" Lucas came up to me and hugged me. "It was nothing" i told him. "where's Jules?" i asked. "she went with Beck and Tori to get some witchy herbes around. She sensed something" Ariana replied. wow and we thought we were the only ones awake.
I needed poke revenge from Tyler so i went into our tent where Sam was trying to wake Tyler up. I picked up a stick from outside and started poking Tyler. "Caroline!!!!!!" he cried . I laughed as loud as possible. Sam looked at me "lets tell him" i smiled and narrared the whole story to Tyler, he agreed to let Sam stay as well. Well Lucas already said yes but Tyler's opinion mattered too.
After everyone changed we all settled down to talk to James. "James did you see anyone else in the cave with you?" I asked curiously. "I was locked in a different part of the cave altogether. I couldnt hear anything or couldnt see anything. Escaping from there was the hardest thing to do. But i can help you to get to my side of the cave" he told us. "His side wouldnt work, its different" Beck blew off James.
"NO!" i exclaimed "its perfect, his part was on a different side of the cave, but in the end it was the same cave Beck so relax we'll find a way" i told Beck. Gosh i hated Beck so much! He is just so annoying. He only likes the people he wants to like. He wouldnt even get to know anyone.
"lets go then" Lucas said. "The cave is 4.6km far away from here, walking, it would take us 2 days" James said. "Two days it is then" Tori said. We packed up our stuff and all decided to follow James. Sam gave me a bit of his rusty blood and we all left.
"Sam is everything gonna be alright?" i asked Sam "yeah, as long as i am here with you, you'll be fine, so just relax" he said kissing my forehead slowly. All of us were walking quietly, all together suddenly Tyler stopped us "whats that smell?" he asked "what smell James asked?" James is a hybrid just like future me :P .
"it smells like someone's body is decaying" Lucas said "Booby trap" i suggested.
