"Sam this cave that is there, does is bring back all the dead people?" i asked curiously "nope, only the people who have been there before and are immortals and ofcourse who have helped in the secret of the cave" he said "but how are my parents related to all this?" i asked him curiously. "Well you see, your dad turned into a vampire after your sister was born, but he was always a werewolf, as in he was a hybrid and your mom? well shes a witch and shes been around for a long time now, Your parents and our parents have helped in the secret of the cave. Our fathers had started helping the people to build the cave and your mom helped erase the memory of the people who remembered it. Only immortals could remember it and they had to keep it a secret or else they would be killed and our parents helped so if we are able to cast the correct spell at the correct time there is a chance they would raise" he explained. "hmm thats really deep, but what if they dont raise?" i questioned. "well i am not sure that my parents are dead, because i didnt see them die. and your parents, if they dont raise i'll adopt you to be mine okay?" he comforted me. I faked a little giggle.
Honestly i was scared. I didnt know what was going to happen next and this was scaring me. I had a feeling that something or the other was going to go wrong but i also knew that i have Sam and Tyler beside me and they wouldnt let anything go wrong. "Hey, Care i think you should get some rest" Tyler turned around and suggested to me looking at the disturbed look on my face. "yeah i guess" so i pretended to close my eyes to listen to Tyler and Sam's conversation just incase i found some interesting facts which they hadnt told me yet.
I heard a bag of chips open. "here" i heard Sam's voice offering some to Tyler. Since my eyes were closed i couldnt really figure out who was eating what but i was getting hungry. But i was also pretty sure that they would talk about something i dont know.
"So, when are you going to tell her?" Tyler asked Sam. HUH? tell what i thought. i knew something was fishy so i kept my eyes closed and just listened. "tell her what TY?" Sam asked Tyler. "That she is actually a werewolf descendant? and she has our blood in her, so if something gets her really angry, and she even kills and animal she would turn into a hybrid." Tyler explained. "oh yeah that thing, well lets see i'll have to tell her soon. but how do i explain her about her immortal side?" Sam sounded lost "just tell her the truth, that her Dad, was her real dad and he had an affair with another woman who had died and not left her in the rain" Tyler once again helped Sam out.
Whatt??? i am an immortal? cool but what? gosh this is scary. i had to say something but i still wanted to hear more. I am freking out!! "Until i am here, nothing can happen to her" Sam assured Tyler. This comforted me down a bit. I mean he wanted to take care of me. And i am sure he didnt wanna lie to me but circumstances were such that he had to. I understood Sam and he understood me. Well thats what i was glad about.
About five minutes later i pretended to wake up. "Morning sweetheart" Sam greeted "hey where are we?" i asked Sam noticing the filling station we had stopped at. "We're just here to get some petrol in the cars and check on Lucas's car." Tyler answered for Sam.
"okay, but i think i'll stay in the car" i suggested. Tyler nodded at Sam and Sam said "mee too". Okay so Sam was about to tell me what i overheard. What should i do? Should i just tell him i know and that i overheard him? or should i wait for him to tell me?
"hey Care", he said climbing back towards me to the back seat "yeah?" i asked innocently yawning. "I need to tell you something" he shivered a bit. before he could say anything i started talking "look if its about me being immortal and turning into a hybrid and stuff, then i already know okay? i overheard you and Tyler talking, i didnt sleep because i knew you guys were hiding something from me, or else you wouldnt have brought me on this trip with you because youre too careful about me. and i am sure you need me for something but i dont wanna know about that now, you can tell me that later on okay?" i told Sam and before he could say anything i kissed him to assure him that i wasnt mad at him. whatever he did was for a reason. i would do the same for my family so i didnt blame him.
Sam just smiled right at me and kissed me back. "So you hungry?" he asked "major" i replied snatching the packet of cookies he was opening. "hey you know we have two more people joining us on this trip" he told me. "really who?" i asked curiously.
Well "Beck and Tori They're both werewolves. They wont harm us because they love you, because youre a werewolf. theyre brother and sister. Tori will join us and Beck will join Lucas's car." he explained to me "theyre also looking for the cave for their parents. we know eachother for quite a while now and before Tyra, Tyler liked tori" Sam stuck his tongue out. "haha" i laughed a bit.
"youre a strong girl" Sam said to me. "i know" i gloated and fluttered my eyes. Just then Tyler opened the passenger door for a really beautiful girl. She was like a barbie doll. Perfect figure, blue eyes and light brown, poker straight hair which reached her waist. She had a thick red color hairband in her hair to go with her red tights and white colloar popped shirt. Her complexion was fair. I assumed it was Tori.
Tyler got into the drivers seat himself. "Care this is Tori, and Tori this is Caroline" he introduced us. Tori just smiled at me and i smiled back. The next 2 hours just passed by by listening to music and somewhat sleeping. Once again we made another stop at a forested area. It was fully deserted with little grass and sand all around. "I need to stretch my legs" i groaned and got down of the car. As i got down of the car i saw this handsome guy, probably 20, just as old as Jules walking towards me. He also had Tori's blue eyes and hair color. Just that he had spiked guy hair. I assumed that was Beck since he resembled Tori a bit.
"Hey, is Sam in there?" he came up to me asking for Sam. "Uh yeah" i replied. He sounded a bit rude. I mean atleast a hi or maybe an introduction?? Gosh men these days. I knocked on the window behind me and Sam came out of the car as if he knew i was calling him. "Sam, there you are" Beck said smiling at Sam. "Come here man" Beck called Sam to give him a guy hug kind of thing. Why is Beck so nice to Sam? hmm weird.
"Hey Beck, this is Caroline" Sam introduced me to Beck. "She's beautiful" Beck complimented kissing my hand. "She's off limits Beck" Sam warned. "haha dont worry, i think i like the gypsy in the other car" he teased and i knew he was talking about Jules. Come on who wouldnt like JUles. I mean she's beautiful <3. I still had second thoughts about Beck so i left Sam and Beck alone and ran to Lucas's car.
"Caroline!" Ariana shouted. I loved Ariana already. She liked everyone and was always so cheerful even though i didnt know her too well. She got down of the car and gave me a little hug. Jules and Lucas got down too. Lucas was holding a bottle of water. "hey can i have some?" i asked Lucas for some water. "sure kiddo" he handed the bottle to me. I gulped some water down feeling relieved. "So Jules, you met Beck?" i asked teasing her. Jules blushed and nodded. "Woah! whats going on here? you blushed and he complimented you, go on tell me" i demanded "i'll tell her" Lucas volunteered. "So Beck and Jules kind of like eachother even though they just met... they were talking during the whole 2 hour journey and didnt let Ariana and I talk at all" he said in a teasing voice. I coughed and smiled at Jules. I was happy for her. She liked someone and he liked her too. It was cute.
"Caroline" I heard Sam shout "Lets go" he said. "ohh dont leave us Care" Ariana teased. "aww Ari" i hugged Ariana and ran back to Tyler's car. Sam opened the door for me and we both sat down. "So guys its just a 30minute ride from here and then we have to walk" Tyler told us "woah walking" I exclaimed. "WHen tyler's here theres nothing to worry about" Tori flirted a bit. and i could sense tyler blushing even though i couldnt see him.
Once again music was on and 30 minutes passed by very fast. We all got down of the car and took our backpacks. "Here we are" Lucas said as he streched and Ariana went into his arms. This place was as if we were about to enter a forest. It had rainforest features. Tall trees, damp sand and well the smell of wetness and dryness at the same time.
"Adventure yaye" i rolled my eyes and said in the most sarcastic tone. Sam held my hand and said "its okay we're here for you" he assured me. I felt a bit safe but i was still scared. "Come one guys, the journey begins" Lucas said Proudly widening his hands towards the forest
