chapter three

it was now morning and i woke up in matt's arms. somehow we ended up cuddling, i don't mind though. i try and climb out of his arms without waking him. he stirs in his sleep and wakes up. he moves to rub his eyes "good morning" i say gently

"goodmorning, allie" he says with a smile.

"i'm gonna go get ready, you should too so we're not late" i say

"i don't want to go though" he says exaggerating the end of 'though'.

"me neither, but we have to" i reply sadly.

after everyone got ready we headed to school. the first periods went quickly and now it was lunch. i walked straight over to the triplets and sat down. we all greeted each other and started talking about our first classes.

"do you guys want to come to my house after school for a sleepover?" i ask in a quiet moment. everyone replies with yeahs and yeses. we continued talking and soon lunch was over. we all said our goodbyes and went to our next classes.

it was now after school and we all met at matt's car and drive to their house so they could grab some necessities. we walk into their house and greet their parents as we walk past. i help them grab and carry anything they need. once done, we say goodbye to their parents and pile into matt's car, once again. we drive to my house and listen to music and sing our hearts out.

we arrive at my house and i show them where the spare room is so they can put their stuff down. we sit on the spare bed while we decide what to do.

"we could watch another movie?" chris suggests

"ooh yeah. we could watch IT chapter 2?" i question

"are you sure the little baby chris can handle it?" matt teased as nick laughed

"you were just as scared, i think you're covering for yourself" i tease back

"nuhuh i wasn't scared" matt states

"sure, you definitely weren't covering your face with the blanket and grabbing onto me for dear life, but on another note, i'm hungry" chris speaks up. we all laugh and go to my kitchen to grab snacks.

nick and chris sit on one couch while matt and i sit on another. we put on IT chapter 2 and like we all expected everyone was scared except me. nick and chris ended up cowering into each other during scary parts and matt would turn his head into my shoulder.

"well that was fun." chris spoke once the movie was over, we all laughed. chris and matt decided to go change into comfier clothes while nick and i talked. we started talking about the movie when he brought up how i was "a human shield for matt" i chuckled

"he was scared like a little baby" i replied

"i saw you blush, allie. everytime he would hide his face, your face grew redder and redder." as nick said that, i felt my face heat up. "do you like him?" oh.

"i mean yeah, i like him as a friend but i don't think it could ever be more. i mean, he sees me as a just a friend." i reply

"allie, have you seen the way he looks at you? i know you've only known us for two days but i haven't seen him look at someone the way he looks at you." nick claims.

maybe he does like me? he couldn't. nick must be joking around.

matt's pov

chris and i decided to go change into comfier clothes while allie and nick chatted. when we got to allie's spare room chris spoke up "do you like allie?" couldn't have been blunter i thought.

"no, why?" i questioned. i couldn't possibly like her. it's been two days. or could i?

"i don't know, it's just i haven't seen you act or look at anyone the way you do with her." chris explains

oh "i just see her as a friend." i say back a bit too quickly

"okay, whatever you say" chris says in response. i don't think he believes me.

we finish getting changed and walk back to the living room.

allie's pov

chris and matt walk back shortly after and join in on our conversation. luckily the topic changed before they got back. we're now talking about out favourite childhood movies and tv shows.

we continue talking for hours when i start getting tired. "i'm gonna get ready for bed, i'm tired" i announce to the group.

"me too" says nick.

we all get up to brush our teeth and nick and i change into different clothes.

since the spare room only has one bed we decided on nick and chris have that bed and matt and i will share since we already have before.

matt and i say goodnight to nick and chris as we walk to my room. we climb into my bed and face each other.

"goodnight, allie" matt says softly

'goodnight, matt" i say quietly with a faint smile.

as i start to fall asleep i think of the past two nights i've spent with the triplets.

i know i've known them for two days but they feel like home.

A/N i'm rewatching riverdale cause i love laughing at it but this chapter took like 5 hours to write cause i kept getting distracted by it 😭
