matt hasn't told me where we're going for our date. but he did tell me to wear a swimsuit so i think we're going to the beach.
when we get there, we get out of the car and i was right, the beach.
"i have a surprise for you" he speaks up.
"oh?" i reply
he gives me a blindfold "put that on" he says.
i do as he says and put the blindfold on. he guides me to where the surprise is.
"you can take the blindfold of on 3, okay?" he says
"okay" i reply

"3"
i take the blindfold off and it's a picnic, with all of our favourite drinks and snacks.
"oh my god, i love it. thank you, matt" i say while smiling
"anything for you" he says returning the smile.
we sit down and enjoy our picnic. the sun starts to set and matt looks over at me.
"allie, there's something i want to ask you" he says nervously.
"ask away" i replied politely
"will you be my girlfriend" he asks shyly
"of course i will, matt" i reply and kiss him.
i take a picture of the sunset and posted it on instagram

if someone told me 2 weeks ago, i would be on a beach date, with my now boyfriend i wouldn't have believed them.
