Chapter 2: The Music School

(Rin's POV)

Nii-chan held my hand as we walked down the path to school to keep me safe from cars and other pedestrians that may not be as careful as him. There could've be Yakuza gangs no matter the hour, but thank God there wasn't any. He even pulled me closer to me at one point of our walk, which made me feel safer than before.

(Len's POV)

Rin-chan looked at me with a smile that said "Thank you for everything" as I pulled her close to my chest. We walked and walked with our food still warm and safe in our bags. As we continued to go on the path to school, I started thinking about my future partner. Rin-chan wants a helpful partner, right? I always thought it was way too early to think about it, but reality struck me on the first walk to school...

Me and Rin-chan are 14 years old and our teachers in the past DID say it's normal to have thoughts like these. I'll have to find out myself one day...

But I got out of my thoughts immediately when we arrived to the famed music school. We arrived to ONGAKU 39 just in time. Rin-chan looked happy and sounded even happier to arrive. We went into the schoolyard and saw a group of friends that were all different, with one of them being a beautiful bright blue-haired girl with glasses who looked pretty young, but i wasn't going to jump to conclusions yet. I started to blush at how cute her voice sounded when she spoke and then Rin-chan nudged me.

(Rin's POV)

I knew what Nii-chan felt and even though I'm younger by a few minutes, I had a few magical experiences of love on the internet. "Ohoho~? Onii-chan, your face is really red~ Do you have a fever~?", I said in a mocking tone. He retorted with a "Shhh!" sound. I started to look at a blond boy who had a melodic British accent. "He's so dreamy! I bet he's a spectacular friend... or maybe he could be more?", I thought. Then, a girl with short hair and purple eyes caught my eye. She looked so boyish, almost thought she was one! She also had a powerful voice~ How sweet~

(Len's POV)

A red head with an eye-patch also caught my attention. He looked so classy even with a uniform and he had a cane. I also saw a silver haired person next to him. He had a feminine voice, but he sounded talented enough to go a few pitches lower. But in the end, I couldn't keep my eyes off of the bright blue haired beauty that was in my sight. She seemed to be an upperclasswoman for them. Just then, the bell for the first period started to ring. Me and Rin-chan went inside the school and put on our indoor shoes by the locker and went upstairs. It was about to be our best first day ever!
