ANGELO

I walked back to the car feeling a sense of excitement. I never looked forward to many things; however, this experience had me feeling a little optimistic.

During the car ride back to the mansion, I found myself thinking about the girl, I loved how naive she was and how she wasn't afraid to stand up for herself. She was not like any other girl I had met before. Other girls cowered in fear just by the thought of Mr. Mob Boss Angelo Santino, and nobody ever dared to speak against me.

"What was that?" Leo asked.

"What was what?" I questioned, knowing very well what he meant.

"You were basically drooling over that girl." Matteo beamed in.

"Shut up." I said in an attempt to cover up how pleased I felt.

Leo and Matteo both looked at each other as they acknowledged how weird it was seeing their friend this way. He looked like a schoolboy who had just kissed a girl.

Even though they are my closest friends and we grew up together, they could never get used to seeing my good side – I always had the image of a ruthless mafia man covering it up. The last time they saw me like this, I was down on one knee proposing to the girl who was supposed to be my soulmate. You could say they were quite protective.

Subsequently, we had arrived at our destination, which was the villa. Lillian sped outside, waving at me to approach her. I saw this and quickly walked up to Lillian.

"Sir. Your father is on the line." Lillian stated with importance.

This was an unusual sentence to hear, as my father never called me directly. This could only mean one thing: an emergency.

JULIETTA

As I watched the muscular figure of the man walk away from the store entrance, I held a napkin which I had been handed. I felt so confused.

I had never had anyone feel interested in me before, let alone have an encounter like this. I looked down at the napkin that read:

Let me take you out, princess. x
