Time sucks. I told him that I wanted to get out of the kingdom on my own for a bit. Not to fight or steal or anything, but just to breathe. Like the good friend he is, he decided to 'let slip' some of it to Light. More like he told Light WORD FOR WORD how I was thinking of getting out. After everything he told me the other day, THIS is how he 'helps' me!?
I guess it is my fault for telling him, but still.. c'mon.
Now, the council is meeting to figure out how they'll punish me for wanting to breathe.
Sigh...
I'm not there, however. I've been grounded by the Orange Leader. He kicked down my door, demanding that I stay here no matter what. Yes, he did ACTUALLY kick down my door. Unnecessary.. There are guards everywhere. In the house, outside the house, on top of the house, everywhere.
Okay, that was a joke.
...
I hope.
For the past few hours, I've been holed up in my bedroom, cleaning. I chose the bedroom to stay in because it happens to be the only guard-free room in this entire building. I really don't want to deal with the suspicion, and I'm honestly better off staying in here anyways. As I look around, I can really appreciate just how many odd things I have.
Half of this stuff would get me grounded for a century. That's another reason why I don't want guards in my bedroom; all of my essential adventure gear is stashed in here. Invis potions, ender pearls, crossbows, all of it. You name it, it's in here. It's probably better to keep Light (and the leaders) unaware of this stuff. What they don't know can't hurt them, right?
Realizing it's been hours, I open my door and sneak downstairs into my kitchen. It's definitely time for lunch. As I enter the kitchen, I get at least a dozen suspicious glances. There are guards at the table, looking out the window, guarding.. well, where the door would be..everywhere.
I laugh internally as I notice something..
They're all looking at me like I'm going to break out using just a piece of bread. I totally could, but still-
As it is, Time is likely watching me from... wherever he watches people. The Time Dimension? Meh. I won't be getting out anytime soon, is the point.
...
What was I saying.?
RIGHT- I should get some lunch. Then repair my door. I walk over to my chests, grabbing out some sandwich material. Placing the ingredients on the counter, I pull out a pot and fill it with water. My lunch for today is going to be a nice sandwich and some black tea. Light took my coffee, so it's the best I can do. I place the mug in my furnace to heat up, and begin to make my sandwich.
I set my sandwich on a cutting board just as the furnace dings, signaling that the water is ready. I turn it off and grab a knife, rolling my eyes at the sounds of chairs moving behind me.
"For the love of Notch- I'm trying to cut a sandwich! I get that you're all high strung, but good god! Calm yourselves!"
"But-"
