Azriel
I sat in the lounge by myself for a while longer until Rhys's voice rang in my head. "Azriel? Where are you, get down here Cas wants us in Windhaven"
I rolled my eyes, annoyed at thought of losing this peace, "Ill be right there." I respond, closing my book. I glanced around the lounge, how homey it looked and how even though it was empty, it felt alive.

I opened the door and almost ran straight into someone, "I'm so sorry-" The woman said, it wasn't Aurora, it must be her assistant. "Dont worry about it" I said, nodding and slipping past her. I waked down the back stairs, emerging behind the desk, face to face with Aurora. "Sorry to head out so soon, Rhysand was enough." Feeling stupid that i just told her that when i probably shouldn't have.

She nodded and smiled, "It was nice having you, you should come back, the lounge isn't used enough" My heart fluttered at the invitation, I simply nodded, smiling and slipped back out. I landed next to Rhysand and Cassian in windhaven, they were bickering with Devlon, the commander clearly upset about something. "... They just walked in here!! Like they owned the damn place!?" Devlon was whining, "They need to be at their camp, i thought we agreed they wouldnt be welcomed in our court anymore."

A different court? Just walking into Night court territory. "Yes Devlon, we understand but that was centuries ago," Rhys countered, "they only appear when they need something, so they need something. How long did they say." My shadows whispered in my ears as i stood next to Rhys. Court of Life and Death.

Aurora
I smiled to myself at the thought of Azriel coming back tomorrow, it made me happy when he was here. He was a new face, a new person to discover, and he just seemed to fit. But he had a life, I reminded myself you were just book buddies.

"Who's got you smiling like that?" A female voice said from the front of the store, "Mor!" I said running up to hug the blonde female. Me and Mor had been friends before I had even gotten here, she new everything about me; Where I was from, who I really was, my taste in food, books, and clothes.

"I missed you!" I said pulling back to inspect her, "Hey Ayla!" She said Ayla waved back from behind the counter. "Alya, wanna pull an extra shift? I'll let you sit with the spymaster tomorrow." I said, "Yes yes yes!! Have fun, love you Mor!!" She said running from behind the counter and practically shoved us out the door.

"The...Spymaster?" Mor said, turning to look at me, with her eyebrows raised. I looked at her. I internally face palmed, they must not, knooooooowwww. I bit my lip, smiling awkwardly, "yep, now lets go shop!" I say, my voice squeaky, walking off. "Nuh uh, this conversation is not over," She said walking to meet my pace. "Why is Azriel in your bookstore?" I shrugged, might as well tell her, she knew everything about me.

"His been in here almost everyday, but today i just let him sit in the lounge," I reply, but it didnt seem to satisfy her.

"So thats where hes been!!" She exclaims. "Oh my gosh, please don tell him i told you he's been here." I say, my face lacing with concern. "Dont worry, ill let him bring it up. Azriel has good reasoning behind his actions." She chuckled. "Now lets shop!!!"

We shopped for a good two hours, between clothes, books, shoes and foods. We were now drinking tea in the lounge. I grabbed the book next to the chair Mor was settling on. The title read Kingdom of Ash, i frowned, "Shit, this is Azriel's book." I said looking at Mor, "Mind taking it back to him?" I asked her, she raised her eyebrows, "If I give it to him, he will know you told me," I rolled my eyes, thinking. He's not in here every day, so it could be a while till he comes back.

I smiled, "fine you can give it to him, and tell him you know, but try not to tell anyone else, especially if he didn't want anyone to know." She grinned wickedly, and i sighed collapsing back into the other lounge chair.

I winnowed on to the balcony of the town house, where everyone was gathered, Azriel's book in hand. "It's about time, you're 10 minutes late." Azriel said, leaning against the doorway, "Everyone is in the living room." I looked at him, and held out his book. He immediately flushed when he saw what is was. He grabbed it out of m hand, "Don't worry i wont tell anyone about you stalking the poor girl, she just wanted to make sure you had your book."

He looked at me,a desperate look in his eyes, i placed my hand on his shoulder, "I promise Az, I won't tell anyone." He nodded at me and smiled, the book then vanished into his shadows. We stood gathered on the dining table, looking over a map splayed out. "What's this about?" I asked Rhys who had a concerned look on his face. He looked at me, worry plastered in his eyes.

"The Court of Life and Death is... Stirring." My jaw dropped, "the court of what and who?" Nesta blurted, We looked at her, but Rhys was the one who answered,"The Court of Life and Death." He rubbed his face, "It's not something we... talk about- a lot." I nodded, "Care to elaborate?" Elain asked. So we did, "The court of Life and Death is exactly what is sounds like. It is the holder of life and death, a bridge if you will." Rhys began to explain, "Only the high lords know about it, and we dont talk about it. Or invite the high lady, to anything."

"High lady?" Feyre asked, "I thought i was the only high lady?" Rhys shook his head, "As long as time, that court has only ever had a high lady, and just one, becasue she is practically a god. She is keeper of the passing spirits, she's barley a highlady, more of a goddess than anything. The only times they ever get involved on anything here in the courts, it's very, very serious." We nodded.

"Lord devlon says that they've been sending their people to windhaven in hopes to contact us, so we went to windhaven today. They say they're looking for somone from their court, and the last place she was suspected to be was in Velaris."

"They know about Velaris?" Elain asked, puzzled, "they know about everything"

Aurora
I locked the door of the shop behind me, smiling at the successful day. "There you are," a familiar male voice purred from behind me. I froze, chills running down my spine. No. I had worked so hard to cover my tracks. "We've had such a hard time tracking you." He said. I turned around and came face to face with my brother. "Morten, what do you want." I say, schooling my voice and features. I scanned, his blade was in his left hand, but he wielded it with his right, that would give me an opening to slip passed it when he switched hands.

I used my magic to unclip the blade from the underside of my forearm, making sure he noticed. His face immediately snapped to my arm, fuming with rage, "I didnt want this to get violent, De-'' I kicked him in the groin and punched him across the face before he could finish his sentence. I ran behind him, to where I wasn't sure, but i could hear his footsteps behind me.

I kept running until i reached the place Mor said I could go if need be. I banged on the front door, not realizing the blood gushing from my shoulder, he must of scratched me somehow. "CAULDRON!! Mor open the damn door!!" I said, banging on it three more times. I could sense more of them. Shit- I shouldve made sure they weren't following me. Stupid, stupid family.

We were all starting to eat when someone banged on the front door, "What the hell?" Cassian said, head snapping towards the door. Their was a muffled shout, "Cauldron!! Mor open the damn door!!" All eyes turned to me, except Azriel, who must've recognized Auroras voice. He looked to me as i shot up, and rushed to the door, "Mor? Do you know who it is." I fumbled with the locks, there were very, very few times She sounded this panicked. "My brother," she said, in between pants barley a whisper, "Following. Me." Then i saw him, the general of the armies of the court of Life and Death.
