Chapter 17: Stuck.

Kano was standing in between the bunch of men in the front and the two behind.

Kano: I don't know why I am not so surprised actually.

Brayan: well since my own son is stupid and useless good thing is you can always find a loyal man. John gave me your number earlier and tracking you was easy then.

John: Sorry Kano, no hard feeling but I hate staying in the backlines, you were my best friend along with Arso but both of you were so different, both of you are the sons of two strong heads, Arso was stupid enough to stay with your dad's gang and be useless just because his dad killed his mom when she betrayed him and didn't force Arso to go back to him after that aaand you were running away from such a high position your whole life, I'm not like that.

Kano: cut the bullshit now will you? Acting friendly as if you care and letting all the suspicions go to Arso just because he's Brayan's son then say we're your friends? You know what, I never doubted Arso because I knew he's a real man and a real friend since the start.

Then a yelling irritated voice came from the car.

Rita: You bastaaaard! Hugging him as if you're gay and telling him to take care then bringing him to this? You're the worst! Kano you asshole open the fucking doooooor!

Kano: Here we go again 🤦‍♂️ Anyway now what? John will be the head of your gang? Someone like him?

Brayan: Well, he'll be working on destroying Bogdan first since he won't have a successor, after your death, he's gonna make John his successor because as you know Arso will never be the one because he's my son.

Kano: Good plan, except that Bogdan isn't that stupid you know, it's not like I'm complimenting him or whatever but just saying the truth.

Brayan: I know that already but you are the stupid one along with my son, you've been shot by Arso before remember? I forced him to do that saying that if I don't I'll kill his mom and when he did I killed her anyway. I thought that would actually make him man up the hard way but he stupidly went to you and your father to kill him and as stupid as you are, you didn't let him be killed and became even more friends than before, seriously your stupidity drove me nuts.

Kano: you mean this? (Showing the scar on his chest) that's actually our friendship mark now and Arso did surely man up the hard and proper way (looking at John and making fun of him, then got back to the serious mood) Now let's make this short.

Brayan: Alright. You know how it works right? It'll be painful.

Kano: yup yup, trying to be different from Bogdan so hard and creating the stupid three-bullets mark, go ahead.

Rita: What's with the go-ahead? Did you lose it???

Kano: (looked back to Rita) I'm sorry, I have to do this Rita.

Rita: (her face turned blue) Wait? You are actually serious?

Kano: (still looking at her without blinking) Yes Rita. I'm sorry for what you'll see now but you'll go through this and you'll survive yeah? Stick with mom and Clary you'll be okay and don't forget anything I said.

She was listening to him while her heart is racing like crazy, her mind stopped working and went blank, for a second she thought it's one of his usual fights or conversations but now with all the pressure going on, she couldn't think anymore.

Rita: (with teary eyes and hysterical expressions and a shaky voice) To hell with that open the fucking door!!! Don't leave me here watching you die like that you asshole!!!

Kano: (turned to Brayan) Let's finish this.

Brayan: (took out a gun) Alright.

He pointed the gun toward Kano's chest while he was looking at him in the eyes with no fear, at that moment a car stopped suddenly next to Kano's and a man went out of it.

The man: Not yet.

Brayan and John: You?

Kano looked back and when he saw him he was surprised.

Kano: what are you doing here Arso?!

Arso: something smelled fishy that's all. (Looked at John) man you're a fucking bitch not even an asshole. (Then looked at Brayan) Hi DAD, Nice plan and bullshit.

Brayan: So? You think you can do something now? Leave.

Arso: (while walking and standing in front of Kano) I ain't gonna do anything, just making up for a mistake I did in the past.

Kano: What the fuck do you think you're doing Arso? Just go now don't be stupid.

Arso: As I said Kano I shot you before and I'm gonna take a bullet for you now that's fair enough.

Rita: (shouting) they are threee let me get one too.

Arso+kano+John: 😑😑😑

Rita: I Don't know what the hell em saying just let me out of here! Kano please let me out.

Kano: Arso go now.

Brayan: As you wish.

Kano: (whispering behind Arso) Listen you gotta go right now don't be stupid man you're ruining the whole thing!

Arso: Ruining what?

Brayan pointed the gun towards Arso and put his finger on the trigger, while Kano pushed him away with all his strength with an angry disappointed face "Fuck this shit now".

Rita was trying to follow all what's happening from the car while her heart is about to jump out of her chest and the door is still locked "Why does he seem like losing his calm now? He was so calm earlier I even thought he had a plan, but now the look on his face says that his plan got fucked, this is bad now".

There was a big noise getting closer to where they were, cars probably, in some seconds there were like 4 cars there, she got distracted for a second until she heard the sound of a gunshot and all her senses went back to searching for Kano, and when she saw him her heart skipped a beat, seeing Kano holding his right chest while Arso is running to him again and before he reaches him Brayan fired again and hit his left chest in the heart area.

Rita was still in shock from the first shot, seeing the second her eyes got wider and she had goosebumps, seeing him getting down in pain and turning his face to look at her, her tears fell before she knew it and she couldn't think anymore. She looked at the door in despair and tried opening it and it was surprisingly open this time, she jumped out of the car and ran to him.
