I collapsed on the bed, breathing heavily. All those boxes and suitcases were too much for me!
Me and my dad had moved to Tokyo today. Ever since I was five, I've always had a passion to sing. Somehow, singing gave me joy. All the horrible things in life would go away and I'd be so much happier. That was when my new dream sparked. Although it's probably not achievable to be a famous singer, I'm willing to try. Even if it means to leave the place filled with my childhood memories.
A small tear rolled down my cheek. Could this all be for nothing? What if I wasted my time on this? I clenched my fists. No, I'm going to make this happen.
I sat up and looked at the clock, 1 o'clock in the morning. Great. I flopped back onto the bed and hit something hard. Ouch. Turning around, I saw the school handbook. Vocal Academy. The school that's supposed to make my dreams come true. I sighed and threw it to the ground. I hope this works.

"Bye Dad!"
"Have fun Rin!"
And with that said, I turned to the sidewalk and began to walk. The city was as lively as it could be. Cars were honking, people were laughing and talking. This was a huge difference between my old quiet town. Not watching where I was going, I bumped into someone and fell to the ground.
"I-I'm sorry." I said shocked. I stayed on the ground, feeling embarrassed at myself.
The person turned around and smiled at me.
"Are you okay?" He asked lending me a hand. I took it and he boosted me up. I could feel my face getting hot.
"I'm fine." I said, brushing off the dirt on my uniform. I began to start walking when a hand grabbed my wrist.
"Are you going to Vocal Academy?" He asked me. I was surprised at the coincidence of bumping into someone from the same school. I nodded to him as my face got even more red from embarrassment.
"How'd you know?" I asked.
He pointed at me, "your uniform!" He flashed another smile at me.
"The name's Len Kagamine! I suppose you're new?"

She looked oddly shocked. Maybe I scared her too much with my over excitement. She also seemed somewhat confused.
"My name's R-Rin Kagamine."
I can tell why she was a little confused now, we had the same last name. We just stood there, awkwardly staring at each other. People scurried past us as the busy city continued on without us.
"Uh, let's get going shall we?" I said, breaking the silence.
"Y-yeah."

I walked into my new home room classroom. It was pretty much filled up. Mr. Kamui introduced me to the class and I went to take a seat. My seat was in the back corner of the outgoing room. Everyone seemed to love it here. I'm sure I will too.
All of a sudden, the thought of Len came into my head. We split up once we were inside the school doors. But it was such a huge coincidence that we met. Having the same school and the same last name. It was just, unusual.
His tied back blond hair was what caught my eye. I bet he's some interesting guy. I sighed and looked out of the window. The cherry blossom trees were blooming. I smiled.
All of a sudden, an unfamiliar voice whispered my name.
"Hey! You're Rin right? Well my name is Miku Hatsune, a.k.a you're new best friend!"
I turned around to see a joyous person with long teal pigtails. This class sure is weird.
