New Feelings

I somehow couldn't get my mind off of the strange boy I met today. My stomach starts to clench whenever he'd pop into my head. How did it come to this on the very first day?

I looked over to the clock on the wall. There was only a few minutes left until the lunch bell would ring, but I was terribly hungry from skipping breakfast this morning.

Miku had also introduced me to a shy green haired girl. I believe her name is Gumi Megpoid. She seemed pretty nice and fun to be around. She also said she was new to this school.

I placed my head on the desk and yawned. I could feel my eyes slowly closing as I buried myself in my arms. Class is almost over anyways...

*RINGGG*

I woke up in a panic as my arm knocked most of my books off of my desk. I was panting as if I had woken from a nightmare. Miku was laughing like crazy on the other side of the room. It seemed like everyone already scurried out of the room before they could see me. Thank goodness.

I knelt down to the floor as Gumi came over.

"We'll wait for you in the cafeteria" she said with a smile while helping me with the rest of my books.

"Okay!" I smiled back.

My pantings came to a stop as I stood back up. Gumi grabbed Miku's hand ( who was still laughing ) and dragged her out of the room.

I organized all of my papers back to the way it was and took a deep breath. I felt relaxed. For once. I headed towards the door and turned the knob. Stepping out into the hallway, I looked both ways making sure no one was there. Oddly enough, nobody was there.

I started to walk down the hallway. The creaks on the floor was the only I heard. For a little.

Only a few minutes later I heard the sound of someone running. And it seemed to be coming closer.

"WATCH OUT!"

I turned around, but it was too late. I was already on the ground. Great Rin, two times in a row.

"Rin! I'm so sorry!"

The sound of that voice made me freeze in place. I looked up to see Len, with a sorry smile. I could feel myself get tense once again.

He gave me a hand, just like this morning, and I took it.

"Twice in a row huh?" Len said. He laughed at the end.

"Y-yeah" I managed to say. How? How could I not even say anything to him? He's just a boy like every other guy I've met. No, Len's different... somehow.

"I'm sorry again! I'm such a clumsy person!" He smiled. The smile that made me melt inside. Wait no! How could I think this? I don't even know that well!

"No, it's fine!" I told him as I looked away, trying to hide my red face.

"Good, so Ri-" was all he managed to say before a screech filled the hallway.

"LEN! WHERE ARE YOU?!"

We both turned around to see a girl with a long, yellow side ponytail. She didn't seem very happy either. But I could feel as if she was staring directly at me, with her cold eyes.

"I'm coming Neru! I have to go Rin, we'll see each other again soon!"

And with that said, he walked to the girl. They both started to walk the other way. But I made the wrong choice. Choosing to look at them a little more let me peek at something I didn't know, and would never want to see.

They both stopped walking as Neru (I believe that's what Len called her) placed one of her hands against Len's face. She hastily placed a kiss on his lips for what seemed like forever. Len backed away as he broke the kiss. I could've sworn my heart skipped so many beats at the sight.

The last thing I saw was them walking away. Neru looked straight back at me with a smile on her face.
