Misconception

{ Rin Kagamine }

I still had no idea why I had run away from Len, but it's too late now, I can't just turn back around. I was already running from my problems and my heart.

Tears were still spilling out of my eyes, but I didn't care. I just wanted the pain in my chest to disappear.

For as little as I've known him, I feel like he's my other half. Like the person I've been searching for my whole life.

My mind was filled with thoughts and actions that I could've taken. Sadness was taking over, but deep inside, I could feel guilt. Guilt for running away, or being jealous?

All of a sudden, I stopped in my tracks. Tears stopped flowing out of my eyes. My mind became completely blank, because someone grabbed my arm.

I turned my head around to see a boy staring contently at me with soft blue eyes. His also blue moppy hair fell across his face as we stood there in complete silence.

"Are you okay?" he asked in concern, breaking the silence.

I stayed silent, still in shock. I opened my mouth, but nothing came out.

"It's alright," the boy chuckled, "I won't hurt you."

My cheeks turned to a slight pink. Somehow, his voice gave me comfort.

"I-I don't know." I replied. I slapped myself in my mind. There was so much going on, so much I wanted to release.

His face formed a slight frown, but turned into a warm smile.

"Okay, but if you ever find yourself in need of comfort, I'm here for you."

How could even say that when we just met? I don't even know his name!

But that wasn't what mattered, he was concerned enough to the point where it made me smile on the inside. He even let aside my red face and swollen eyes.

"Now that that's over with, let me introduce myself. My name is Kaito Shion, it's a pleasure to meet you!"

{ Kaito Shion }

"Rin Kagamine," She replied in a soft voice. She opened her mouth as if she was going to say something else, but closed it and looked down.

"Why don't yo-" all of a sudden, the bell rang, signaling the end of lunch. I could tell the ringing bell muffled the rest of my sentence out, but I needed to meet up with someone else.

I paused for a second then spoke again, "Well I gotta go, here's my number if you ever need anything." I gave her a piece of paper and left.

The sounds of students walking and talking filled the hallways. I ran through all of them and tried to find her, my 'master'.

{ Kagamine Rin }

I took out my keys for the house and went inside. My dad works late so I'm usually home alone, accept for the mornings.

I went upstairs and into my room. Throwing all my stuff to the ground, I plopped onto the bed. Ahh... Finally, relaxation.

As if on cue, my phone rang. Right, back into the drama again. I picked up my phone and looked on the screen.

+ New Text Message from - Miku and Gumi +

Miku : Where were you at lunch? Me and Gumi searched everywhere!
Gumi : yeah! Is anything wrong?

I waited a moment until I responded.

Me : drama, I guess?
Gumi : alright, if you need anything, tell us!
Miku : No, you better tell us now! I'll beat 'em up for ya!
Me : okay, I'll tell you guys later.

And I left the conversation like that. I dropped my phone and sighed. I looked down at the floor to see a piece of paper sticking out of my books. I walked over and picked it up. A bunch of numbers were written on it.

Kaito...

He's name was like the sound of bells. I remembered the scene when he grabbed my arm. No one had ever cared that much about me before. The thought made me blush a bit. Was I looking at the wrong person this whole time?

- YAYY! Another chapter! Rin is have a debate on which guy she really likes! Also, who is this so called 'master' that Kaito was rushing to get to? Stay tooned to find out!
