About five months ago my older sister went traveling for a week with her boyfriend, when she came back she had gotten souvenirs for everyone. She gave me a bracelet that was meant to protect me from any evil entities. It was an inch wide and was adjustable around the wrist. It had black beads with red strings and leather pieces pulling it all together, in the center of the bracelet was a small silver buddha charm. I loved it and it was one of my favorite bracelets. I never took it off unless I was taking a shower or doing dishes so it would rust. I had it for five months until one night the charm had broken off. I didn't think too much about it since I'm not very spiritual and neither is my family except for my sister who got it, but I never told anyone. I got some mini pliers for jewelry the same night and reattached the charm then went straight to sleep. I woke up at five in the morning and it's usually always still dark out by then. As I'm sitting on my bed still trying to wake up I try calling out to my dog who is still sleeping by my feet, but to my horror nothing came out. I try calling her name again but I didn't hear my voice. I start to panic and scream but still nothing. On the other side of the room I saw what looked like black smoke but it didn't look like normal black it was the darkest color I've ever seen in my life. It starts to form the silhouette of a woman, but it doesn't stop growing; she starts to become more disproportionate over time. Her long thin and straggly hair, her legs being so long she crouches and her hands reaching a little ways past her knees. To top it all off she has no facial features, just a terrifying grin that filled half her face with sharp and disgusting teeth. Filled with dread I stay silent with teary eyes as she stares at me despite her having no eyes. I breathe shakily, not knowing what to do, I try to scream and yell for help but I'm still silent. She starts to laugh very slowly at me making her grin bigger, the distorted yet woman-like laugh sending chills down my spine. I scream again and make out a small whisper, the woman suddenly stops laughing and I feel an overbearing sense of anger. Bright and glowing yellow eyes appear on her face out of nowhere, she stares right into my eyes and I feel as if she's piercing through my soul. I try to yell one more time but only whisper a small “help..”. She screeches in anger and leaps at me, before she can touch me i wake up… i wake up? It was five a.m and my dog wags her tail in excitement to finally see me awake. “It was a dream?” I think to myself, I look down at my wrist and see my bracelet gone even though I had fallen asleep with it on. I then look on my bed and see that the beads are everywhere, the ropes and leather are torn to shreds and the charm is missing. I get off my bed and find the buddha charm on the floor where the silhouette woman had been. My sister got me a new bracelet the following week…
