Ymir: I am the strongest one here in this environment.

Reiner looked back to and was surprised to see Ymir attacking Bertholdt causing him to struggle to keep his balance in the air.

Bertholdt: Stop it, Ymir!

Ymir: Don't you think a forest like this is where I can shine the most?

Bertholdt almost banged himself into a tree but he quickly managed to dodge it by pulling back his hooks and use the gas to turn quickly. He then hooked himself to a tree and pulled himself up before hitting the ground.

Bertholdt: Stop, Ymir! We will fall!

Ymir: Do you think I care? If I became a Titan, I might be powerless compared to you but I can move swiftly through the trees. I could snatch Eren away from you and go back to meet up with the Scouts...and probably succeed.

Reiner and Bertholdt stopped on a nearby tree as Ymir continued to threaten the two if they do not listen to her.

Ymir: If you don't agree to take Christa with you right now, I will get in your way and fight you right here.

Reiner: What are you saying!? Don't you care what happens to her!? We can't help her that way!

Ymir: Yes, that's fine. Even if it means taking her future away, I will do what it takes to live and meet her. I might be the shittiest person there ever was. You guys don't know what it's like. She knows how awful I am and yet she still smiles kindly at me.

Reiner: You...

Ymir: Don't be mad at me. I have a plan. If I stay and fight, it should be easier for you to escape anyway! Or would you rather stay and kill each other!? Do you want me to prove how crazy I am?

Reiner: Tch!

The Scouts regrouped and are now just outside the forest charging through the Titans which are trying to block them. Just then a bolt of yellow lightning struck the ground in the middle of the forest.

Mikasa: A light?

Armin: Straight ahead in the forest! I saw a light! It is the light that appears when a Titan transforms!

Erwin: So we are just in time. Soldiers, disperse! We believe the enemy has already transformed! Locate and recover Eren!

The whole squadron split up turning left and right going around the forest. One soldier unfortunately was grabbed and eaten. The soldiers could not do anything but to continue to ride forward.

Jean: Another one of the police!

Erwin: Engaging in battle is not the objective! Prioritize recovery and retreat!

Hannes: Phil! Round up the horses!

Soldier 56: Yes, sir!

Some of the soldiers went into the forest and jumped off from their horses flying into the air with their ODM gear.

Hannes: The first priority is to find the enemy and let others know! They should be fleeing from the forest! Disperse!

Hannes' group broke off into different directions to find Eren. Mikasa flew through the forest hoping that her lover will be in her sight.

Mikasa (in her mind): Ereh, where are you?

Just then they heard Ymir's Titan roar in the forest alerting all the troops inside the forest to regroup.

Soldier 90: Is that a Titan screaming?

Soldier 45: It came from ahead!

They saw Ymir hanging on a tree in front of them sitting there motionlessly before closing in on her.
