The sun is entirely up now as the dark clouds parted, and rays of sunlight shone between the parted clouds. The Monastery's atmosphere is so cheerful now that the sun has arisen. Silver plates fill to the brim with hearty breakfast, goblets filled with tasty drinks, and freshly ironed suits to start the week. As the ninjas ate and drank, the door opened, and Jay walked in. His face is as depressed as ever, his eyes and nose are flushing red, and his jacket and shirt are soaked.

"Woah, Jay, where have you been, buddy?" Kai asked as he handed a towel to him.

Kai, the fire ninja, has a similar age to Jay. He's 22. His hair is brown, tall, thick, and spiky, shaped like fire, and he wears his favourite red ninja suit. A scar is also visible on his right eyebrow and a bandage on his left. These are probably the results of a previous battle which Kai kept perhaps to make him look cool.

Beside Kai, there's Lloyd. He's in his 20s. he has tousled blond hair and arched brown eyebrows. His eyes are visibly green, glowing from time to time. He wears his usual green gi.

Beside Lloyd, at the northern end of the long table, there's Master Wu. He's probably a thousand years old and has a long white beard and a single braid of white hair similar to his father. He wears a white kimono with a dragon on his back and a red sash on his waist. He wears black pants, reddish-brown boots, and white linen on his knees to strengthen his legs. He also has a slightly darker straw hat on his head and wears a long sand-brown cape.

Beside master Wu there's Zane. His age is unknown since he's a robot, so he appears ageless. He wears his white gi and silver hair in a tall flat-top haircut. He also has glowing blue eyes, which are his optical sensors.

Beside Zane, there's Cole. He's slightly older than Kai. He's 23 years old. He has a muscular body, shaggy black hair, and bushy eyebrows and wears his black gi and orange belt.

"Nowhere, just having a stroll in Ninjago city, you know, gotta stretch those legs," Jay replied casually.

"Here, have some tea. It'll warm you up," said Master Wu pushing a cup of Earl Grey.

"Thanks," Jay muttered, sipping the tea slowly.

"It's the 3rd time already, Jay. What are you up to?" Cole pressed on. "Just tell us the truth."

Jay swallowed hard and sighed. "It's just that... I've been getting these nightmares lately. They've been haunting me ever since the flood. They just won't stop...."

Kai patted him on the shoulders and hugged him. "Don't worry, Jay, you're not alone. We all miss her. Now, why don't we have some breakfast? It's Zane's cooking today."

Jay unenthusiastically nodded and picked up his cutleries. The breakfast was good, but nothing could patch up his broken heart.

"Speaking of Nya, I finally devised a way to bring her back. There are still a few parts missing, though." Says Lloyd.

"Ooh, that's cool, and as for the missing parts, I think we can brainstorm on how to complete it," Kai replied.

Lloyd reached under the table, grabbed a roll of newspaper, and threw it across the table. "It came in the news yesterday."

"The famed explorer Clutch Powers have discovered an interesting and dangerous artifact deep in the heart of Hiroshi's Labyrinth. After some research and analysis, the artifact seemed to be a thousand years old time travel device. The device is too dangerous for anyone to possess; therefore, the artifact is still kept inside Hiroshi's Labyrinth for safety reasons." Kai read.

"Okay, but how is this going to help us?" Cole asked, puzzled.

"If we tracked down the time machine using the Bounty's temporal scanner, we could locate the artifact, time traveled to the past, save Nya from turning into water and save our city from getting destroyed." Lloyd smiled.

"Lloyd, you're a genius!!" Kai replied.

"But the artifact is thousands of years old. Do you think it will have the ability to bring us all back to the past? Such operation would require massive energy." Zane asked.

"It is possible." Says Master Wu. "The Island of the Keepers contains purple Storm Crystals that can produce massive energy if combined. If you gather enough Storm Crystals, you can time travel to the past, save the city and Nya as you have planned."

"Pretty neat, pretty neat." Muttered Kai.

"Looks like we have a pretty neat agenda." Says Cole. "We go to Hiroshi's Labyrinth, take the artifact, go to the Island of the Keepers, grab a few crystals, and travel to the past. What do you think, Jay?"

"I think we should get going and save Nya!"

"NINJA-GO!!!!"
