The yellowish portal closed, and the ninjas found themselves exactly where they imagined arriving at the Hydro Bounty. They hide behind the steel doors separating them from their past selves. They could hear the conversation between the people behind that steel door.

"I cannot detect the seventh word, but I am willing to search that in all our databases."

"Um...why would anyone be sleeping at a creepy underwater temple? That makes no sense."

Jay noticed what would happen next and nudged Neuro to do his mind-reading magic. Seeing the signs, he closed his eyes and connected himself to Zane's head. 'Wojira, Wojira, Wojira...' he kept muttering to himself.

"Well, the signal seems to be coming from this temple, so-"

"WAIT!" Zane shouted from behind the steel doors. "I have identified the sleeper's identity. It's Wojira!"

"Wojira? As in the sea monster of wave and storm?"

"Apparently, yes. And if we intrude on its sleep, we might accidentally release another evil upon Ninjago. Just like our meeting with Aspheera."

"You're right, Zane. Nya, Maya, I suggest you guys return to the Hydro Bounty to prevent uh...mishaps."

"What about the energy required to get the submarine moving?"

"Oh no, we haven't thought of that one. Wait, where's Jay?" Kai whispered, scanning the area for Jay.

As the ninjas quietly scanned the deck, panicking that they had lost another teammate, Jay suddenly appeared from across the hallway.

"What are you guys looking for?" He whispered. Crackles of lightning bolts flew around his body, zapping him from time to time. Before the ninjas could ask what happened, the Hydro Bounty's engine started to whirl, and the ship was fixed.

"Wait a second, is the submarine moving?" Lloyd shouted excitedly from behind the steel doors.

"I believe yes! It looks like a miracle hits us!" Zane laughed.

Smiling at their excellent work, the ninjas quietly walked to a compartment where they stored the extra oxygen tanks and diving suits. The ninjas quietly put them on and hide in the room where Nya and Maya are about to come in to store their APS suits. And there they are. The ninjas darted to the endless sea as soon as the trapdoor opened. As the trapdoor behind them slowly closes.

The ninjas dodged the thermal vents as they sped through. After minutes of doing cartwheels and flips while avoiding the thermal vents, the ninjas have reached the temple where Wojira slept.

"Wait a second. Remind me, what are we doing here again?" Kai asked.

"Well, according to my database, Kalmaar knows where the Storm Amulet is according to a sea scroll that shows the exact location of the Island of the Keepers. So our next mission is to eliminate this scroll to prevent Kalmaar from knowing the island's existence." Zane explained.

The ninjas started to scan the ground looking for any sign of a sea scroll.

"Zane, can you do a sonar sweep of the ground below?" Jay shouted while trying to lift a huge rock.

Zane made a quick 'beep' sound, and the ninjas could see a thin film of blue light shooting from his eyes scanning the ground under the ninjas. Suddenly the lights focused on one spot, right under Neuro's feet.

"That must've been where the scroll is!" Cole shouted excitedly.

"Let's hurry up and dig this thing out already. I don't like being around water for too long." Kai squirmed.

The ninjas started to dig the area, and there it was—an ancient sea scroll with the exact map of Ninjago. And there on the Storm Belt, two lightning streaks mark the precise spot of the Island.

"Where can we dispose of this artifact?" Zane pondered, holding the scroll in his hands.

"What about inside the temple? Kai can use his fire to burn the soft material of this ancient scroll." Neuro suggested.

The ninjas nodded and sped their way to the temple. They went over thebroken wooden gates, up a long pathway upwards to the surface. After they reached the surface, the ninjas took off their breathing equipment and sat on the hard, stone floor in front of the gates.

"Kai, mind doing the honor?" Lloyd smiled, nudging Kai's shoulder.

"Don't mind if I do." Kai smiled back. A wave of flaming red fire burned the sea scroll to crisp immediately.

The ninjas smiled at each other, proud of themselves.

"Wait a sec, how are we gonna go home?" Cole asked.

"With these, of course!" Jay takes the watch and a handful of crystals out of a duffle bag.

"Where did you get those?" Lloyd asked, his face puzzled.

"I snatched them before the portal closed. Now, who's ready to come back home?" Jay smiled casually.

"WE ARE!" The ninjas shouted in unison.

The watch is clicked twice, the crystals are set, and the yellowish portal appears again. The ninjas jumped in one by one, feeling victorious. And just like before, another voice stopped Jay from rejoicing with his friends. 'Change anything, change everything.'

"Duh," he whispered to himself. "Isn't that what I've been trying to do?"

Shaking the thought away, he stepped into the portal, unaware of the disastrous consequences awaiting him back home.
