Vance hopper

Part 19

James starts walking really fast and he is home in about 10 mins, he walks in the house and shuts the door quietly just in case your asleep, he takes his shoes off and walks upstairs slowly, he tries to open your door but your locked it, "hey y/n, can I come in?" James says sounding sad "fine" i say getting up my eyes are all puffy and red.

When you open your door James looks so upset but also pissed off because of Vance, when he see me he hugs me right, I start crying on his shoulder and then I pull away "I'm sorry" I say wiping his shoulder bc it's wet I laugh a little and smile "it's okay don't worry" James says pulling me into another hug "Laura is worried about to aswell" James says still hugging you tight "can she come over?" I say looking at James still hugging him, "she will come over after work, I told her too" James says and then pulls away from the hug 2 mins after. "Let's go downstairs and watch a comedy" James says with a smile "I'll make the popcorn and you can pick the movie" he says wiping your tears away "it will be ok, trust me, don't forget you have finney Robin and Bruce" James says laughing a little bit "oh shut up" yeah says pushing his a little bit and laughing a little.

James goes downstairs to do the popcorn and I try and find a comedy to watch, I find one (you guys can think of your fav comedy) I go downstairs and put it on but pause it, I go to the kitchen and talk to James for a bit when we hear a knock at the door, "I'll get it, you stay here ok" James says walking to the door, he opens it thinking it's Vance but it's Laura, "oh hey Laura" James says giving her a hug and then she comes in, she hands James a notebook where it says what Vance and that Emily girl did in the shop, Laura goes to the kitchen because she can smell popcorn and she sees you, she goes up to you and hugs you, Laura was the same age as James just a little bit younger, she didn't go to my school she lived close though, he was like a older sister to me, when she hugs me I hug her tight almost crying but I tried to hold it in "what you guys going to watch" she says still hugging you "a comedy" i says "ooo, can I watch with you guys?" Laura says "yeah you can" James says walking in to get the popcorn.

Tomorrow was school but you and James and Laura decided not to go, Laura would go back to school on a Tuesday, she wanted to spend time with you to make sure you was ok and if James needed to go out and Vance comes in Laura can look after you, your dad was still out of town, he probs would be for the rest of the month.

James get the popcorn and you all sit down watching the movie, your in the middle and James and Laura are on each side of you, you all start laughing to the movie, you don't pay attention to anything around you, you just focus on the movie, Laura and James had they arms around so you felt safe.

Close to when the movie was about to end you fall asleep on Laura shoulder, James goes and gets a blanket for you and when he comes back down he puts the blanket over you, Laura gets up and you can be more comfy and puts your head on a pillow and she sit next to James on the other side "do you think she will be ok?" Laura ask whispering "not for awhile" James said looking sad because he didn't want anything else happen to you
