Do Dwarves have beards?
Yes. This is something the showrunners did admit is true at their convention interview, but this idea that they don't has to do with the fact we're dealing with another, "because Tolkien didn't say it", it must be true, and that has to do with the fact there is one spot where Tolkien only mentioned male Dwarves having beards and thus one can conclude every place he said female Dwarves had beards had been retconned.
Um, nope.
So, the real issue is that Disa's beard isn't visible. It's poorly done, because if you look close enough it's there, and it fits what we've seen done before. I don't think her skin color and the fact her beard blends in helps.
But that's me.
Actually, I think had they put some of that gold dust everyone hated being put on her fingers into that beard for decorative purposes it would have stood out more.
That didn't happen because we all know where the budget for Rings of Power went. The CGI stuff.
