chapter five ; oh

elle's point of view

"elle?" i hear ana say, i slowly open my eyes and turns around so i was facing her. her hair was wet and she was just wearing an oversized t-shirt and some fuzzy socks, she raised her eyebrown at me cause I didn't say anything and just stared at her causing her to uncomfortably shift from her position

"yeah?" i ask finally making eye contact with her, her expression was barely readable she just looked confused

"what happened yesterday? did you pick me up?" she asked as i sighed, getting out of bed clearly not wanting to explain last night's events "take a shower i'll explain later" i said as she nodded hesitantly and walked towards the bathroom, closing the door as i took a deep breath, looking at myself in the wall mirror. I looked like a hot mess.

"i need some air" i whispered to myself as i got an oversized coat, probably Grace's, that was laying around the house and slowly twisted the door knob, opening the door slowly as the cold air hit my face causing me to scrunch up my nose and sit down on the door step, looking at nothing, soon a smile made it's way to my face as a bus with a big outdoor of TABINOF parked infront of the neighboors house, how lovely.

I get up and close the door walking back to the room, opening the bathroom door slowly since the water wasn't on anymore I deduced Ana wasn't there. Wrong.

We just stood there for a minute, a towel wrapped around her body and her wet hair pulled back, she took a step closer to me, our faces inches away, her eyes got darker as i slowly took a step back but she took one closer again, her lips trembling and her hands making it's way to hold mine.

She took one more step closer as I could feel her warm breath on me "oh" i mumbled before she crashed her lips on mine, i could barely carry my own weight at that point, it felt like i was melting in her kiss.

She pulled away slowly looking at me in the eye "say it before it's too late, say it before you run out of time, say what you are feeling, waiting is a mistake"
