Hi guys!

This time I'm updating a bit longer chapter, and I'm leaving it on kind of a clifhanger? I'm going to be gone for the next week or a bit longer, and I wanted to give you something to look forward to. I promise a lot of good stuff is coming.

Disclaimer: there are some nasty things said, and the story itself is unbetaed, full of mistakes and writen in a haze of a special place my mind sometimes wanders off to once I get into what I'm writing... so yeah.

What do you guys think? You like it, you don't?  Your comments make my day, so if you have a moment - bring them on!

Yours, truly,

Moony

Chan considered himself a decently smart person.

Sure, he wasn't Einstein by any means, he probably wasn't even as smart as some of his members... but he also didn't think he was a complete fool... half of the time, at least.

That being said, he couldn't, for the life of him, figure out why Minho decided to act the way he did yesterday.

His eldest dongseang was usually so well behaved, often being named as the mother of the group by both fans and the members alike. He was Chan's right hand, his support, person he could talk to and the one he depended on when he felt he was losing control over situations...

Yet he still did what he did.

It would be bad enough if he did it by himself. Next to drinking, reports Chan got by the officer also showed Minho tested positive on one of police forces' drug tests.

Drugs.

What the fuck?

Chan's mind swirled in panicked little circles. Was this a one time thing? Was it something he usually was doing? Dear Lord, did Minho have a substance problem?! What was going on yesterday?

And it didn't stop there. He also reportedly cursed at the officer, resisted the arrest, and ended up in a bar brawl just before they came, hence why they even showed up in the first place.

That didn't sound like Minho AT ALL.

And, the most concerning out of all of that – he did all of those in front of the others. People younger than him, from groups Stray kids considered their friends. People who lied to their leaders, their hyungs, and turned to MINHO to lead them to a location they were not allowed anywhere near to... and Minho actually... lead them there?

Chan just wanted to know why.

"Minho? Dongseang?"

He knocked on the door lightly, ignoring the fact they were already slightly ajar. He heard a hiccup from the inside, and then a quiet "come in" as Minho seemed to find his voice.

The younger was kneeling in the middle of the room, head held down and posture slumped. He didn't look up when Chan came in.

The leader walked to the bed, taking a seat so he was looking directly at Minho.

He took a moment to compose himself first.

"Dongseang?"

Minho flinched but looked up at him, blinking rapidly. There were tears collecting on the ends of his lashes.

Chan's heart hurt at the sight.

"Oh, honey... Hey, deep breaths for me, okay?"

Minho sniffled, but obeyed, before he looked up and wiped his tears away.
