Black and white, all you can see are simple colors.
You feel like you're running into dead ends.
When you can jump high and see a whole new view.
So many routes and possibilities, you feel like you're starting to see the change.
You walk to the new route and you back out a bit.
It's scary to not know what is ahead.
But you take your breath, and march forward to new beginnings.
You approach a canvas, its black and white as you can see it.
However, you notice there's different colors on your hand.
What are they colors, will you like them?
You try out them out, you go for green.
Green, what a interesting color.
It's like you can see a whole new world.
A forest, not plain old cities.
Full of life and mysteries to be unfolded.
You paint it over the old canvas and your eyes sparkle.
You continue to use different colors and you start to have water in your eyes.
It's beautiful, you created a wonderful piece of art.
It's not black and white anymore.
You can finally see your happiness shine through the darkest days.
It doesn't have to be always dark, and it's okay if there's some light in your day.
You find some relief to find that part of yourself that you lost.
Lost souls try to find home to what they need.
Comfort, happiness, love, confidence, strength.
It's okay to be sad, its a human emotion we can embrace.
You can finally breathe in fresh air.
You are free to do whatever and no one can say anything to change that.
You are you.
Slowly but surely, you are going to live in that piece of art.
Your art is the heart of what you created for yourself.

A/N: I haven't been writing as much and I'm trying to find myself again. I wrote it out. I hope y'all enjoy it
