Into the Unknown

I've been exploring the apparent ruins. I've found myself in a place that was honestly pretty small, maybe a single apartment size with like three rooms, but besides the original one I was born in, there isn't much of anything, not even any trash piles; it seems all the trash was gathered in one place.

I've found what looks like an old bed in one of the rooms. I think, it's so worn down that it could very well be a table or something, but I think it's a bed due to having a small gap between the floor and the frame. The thought of sleeping on it seems very uncomfortable, not just because it could collapse with just an extra feather added on, either.

It looks like it would feel too open? It is not dark enough and is too open. I know, strange, but I've never felt like this before, and I can't describe it well, basiclly I don't wanna sleep on it.

Anyway, besides the apparent bedroom, the other rooms were completely empty, and by other rooms, I mean other room since apparently this 1000-year-old stone structure had exactly three rooms. It's not exactly a ruined mansion by a long shot.

I've gotta say, though, the place wasn't too bad. It could be that my standards have been lowered throughout the day, but it kinda felt crozy in a weird way?

So far, the only things I'm carrying with me on this exploration mission are that old rusty knife I found and my tablecloth that's weirdly soft for something that was hanging out with the 1000-year-old items. The rusty knife is my defense against anything hostile. I'm not taking any chances with how things have been going today.

I keep saying 1000-year items now that I think about it, but I'm not sure how old this place actually is. For all I know, this place could be ten years old, but I've got a hunch I'm closer to my previous guesses.

Anyway, getting back on track, I explored the current ruins and, therefore, found the door to the outside. I can even see the sunlight streaming through the old wooden door.

This is a big moment. I'm finally about to see what world I ended up in. Right before I opened the door, I decided to take a little precaution.

"plz plz plz plz plz plz don't be a toxic wasteland or an ultra-hard world. I'm begging you here, gimme one win on this terrible day, Rasaka."

After begging my heart out to the only person I knew with any influence in this place, I decided to continue and went to grab the old, rusted doorknob.

With a big yank, I pulled on the door with ALL my strength.

....

The door didn't budge at all.

This door is a lot heavier than it looks. I thought it would be old and brittle, but that is a solid ass door right there.

It must have been working out.

I planted my foot on the doorframe and grabbed the handle. One, two, and three, I used my entire body weight to pull on this stupidly buff door. My feet slippen and sliden, trying to get any sort of grip on the smooth stone floor. While I kept yanking with everything I had on the buff Superman of a door, and after a solid thirty seconds, I collapsed against the door. It made exactly ZERO difference.

****

The tiny girl in the room was panting after a pathetic attempt at pulling the door open. She was out of breath and panting like a dog trying to gain any sort of air. Her tiny body leaned against the door, relying on her worst enemy in the new world to keep herself from collapsing.

With her entire weight pressed on the door, which wasn't that much considering her size, it actually budged a little, causing the girl to deadpan, stopping any panting immediately.
