LIZZIE'S POV
I woke up from my nap and started pacing around the room.
My birthday is tomorrow. I'm by myself. Harry still probably doesn't know I'm missing. I doubt my mum knows either.
I heard the door creak open from up the stairs. Amanda.
"Hey fatty." she greeted me.
She had a big garbage bag in her hand. One by one she started opening up the cabinets and throwing all of the food in the bag.
From the fridge she took everything but a bottle of water.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"Oh, talking are we? I'm taking your food away, obviously."
"Why?"
"Because you don't need it. You're fat enough as it is."
I looked down at myself. All my life people have bullied me about everything. My looks, my hair, my body. Everything. But I was not going to let her treat me this way.
"I am not fat. And I know I'm not. I'm not a slut, whore, bitch or anything else you call me either. You only say those things to make you feel better about yourself. You're jealous of me and I know it. You want Harry. I know you do, and you know you do. But why can't you just leave me alone for once, huh? What have I ever done to you!"
"Don't talk to me that way!" She yelled.
"I'm going to. And you know what, when I get out of here, I'm going to tell everyone what a horrible person you are."
"You're never getting out!" she yelled and ran up the stairs, slamming the door.
I started crying really hard. Everything I do, people are mean to me. Especially Amanda. I have never done anything to her. She's just a bitch. No one will like her once they see how she really is. I'm sure of it.
While I was walking around, I tripped over a brick.
"Ow!" I looked straight in front of me.
There was a flap looking thing that was hidden by some boxes.
I lifted it up and there was a tunnel looking passageway.
Maybe this was my way out! I put my arms to my sides and slid into the tiny space. I fit!
I squirmed some more and eventually I ended up outside.
"IM FREE!" I screamed and started jumping around.
I looked around me but I then realized I still had no idea where I was.
The fresh air did feel nice though, after being locked in that basement for so long.
I decided to walk along a dirt path I found and see where I would go from there.
