Every heart is a cosmo of mysteries

It was Saturday. Ahmed was grinning at his phone screen like a fool, staring at Hannah's contact that was saved as train girl. It was on Thursday he got her number, after they talked wholeheartedly about a few books he had read (he hadn't told her he bought it ends with us) he asked for her number sheepishly and she scribbled it on his arm because his phone was dead.

Reason he was smiling was because she promised to come skate with him and Neil that day and since it was in the early hours of the day, the park was pretty much empty.

There was a thud. Neil had fallen on the ground for the umpteenth time.
"Ow", he whimpered as he lay on the ground. He had borrowed a skateboard from the guy who managed the skateboard store next to the park and he was sure he was returning it with extra scratches.

Neil got up and dusted his cream cargo pants and black shirt, he was wearing a black and white vans like Ahmed. The Asian boy snorted as he wore his airpods, sitting at the top of the concrete curved rink, he stared at the gate.

"Waiting for the sophomore?" Neil asked with a knowing smile.

"Yes", Ahmed said as he got up to his feet, he set his skateboard up and rose up one leg so he could go down the gravelled ten feet curved ramp. He went up to the other side and repeated the same thing.

"She's here", Neil announced,

"Really?", Ahmed said, losing control which made him fall on the hard floor, "Shit!" he cussed loudly.

"You're really whipped aren't you", Neil chuckled with mischief. Ahmed sat up and looked at him silently before checking around, she wasn't around.

"I'm gonna tease you about this till graduation", Neil laughed, reminding his friend that they were graduating in less than a year.

"Thought about the college you want to go to?" Ahmed asked curiosly.

Neil sat next to his friend, shrugged then looked at the violet sky,
"Either Oxford or Harvard", smart-ass, "You?"

Ahmed never thought about it but he knew for sure he didn't want to spend his whole life in New York,
"UCLA probably".

"God, it's cold", a girl spoke. Hannah spoke. The two boys flipped their heads to see the brown girl who was hugging her body, she was spotting on a black long sleeved body con shirt, that hugged her tonned stomach well, and a baggy mom jeans with Nike. Her hair was straightened, cascading down her shoulders.

"Blame this ass for picking up a time as early as this", Neil said as he got up quicker than Ahmed.
"He's actually a vampire and sunlight kills him".

Hannah laughed,
"To be honest I still want to go back to sleep",

"Me too", Neil said, "Now we just look like Ahmed".

"Funny", Ahmed grimaced.

"I'm Neil by the way, his best man",

"Can you stop telling people that?" Ahmed shivered as he walked to them.

"But how will people know that there's a wedding?"
